Osaka is in a emergency status from 8th for a month. It’s so sad all these blooming cherry blossoms can’t share with my customers.

Tenjin matsuri, summer festival of near by shrine is already over.
It is the hottest time of the year normally, but this year is more than that!!
I am so glad to know that no one get sick during the palade!!
Summer drum sound
Summer is the festival season in Japan.
My neighborhood Osaka temmangu will held Tenjin matsuri on 24th and 25th. It's said this festival started in 951. Wow!
Sound of drum practice let me know the arriving of hot but exciting summer days!
I believe these festival has some roll to requiescat for the victims of natural disaster. R.I.P for all.
It’s a children’s day today! Wish my nephew, niece and all children’s healthy growth with traditional carp decorations!

Osaka ktichen: Okonomiyaki class

Nice couple arrived at Osaka kitchen!
They were been to Kumano kodo and I was glad to introduce that the starting point of Kumano kodo is near by of our meeting point.
The highlight (and the most important part) of Okonomi yaki making is flipping, and Nico flipped perfectly!

One of my friend joined a Maki sushi class with their former host family from Australia. It was amazing time that I often have heard her funny days in Australia when we were in the same university. Long time ago!
Total 5 person, 3 of them are Japanese. All of us enjoyed both cooking and chatting. Also it as so interesting to hear about their hobby, fossicking(jem hunting)!
