You can easily bring your bike box to Hokkaido for cycling, be it an organised guided tour or self bikepacking.

The connection is SEAMLESS from downtown Sapporo to the international New Chitose Airport (CTS).

There is a Designated Bus-stop for airport express coach right next to the junction of Susukino (Sushi Zanmai shop) near all the billboards.
This service runs every 20 minute interval or so and the journey takes just 1hr10min.
(Do cater extra time for queuing during peak hours).

The fare for 1-way is 1300yen & payable upon exist either by Cash or now Credit Cards (visa/mastercard) as they have upgraded the system, finally!!)

The bus driver also assist you with loading your bike box onto the spacious luggage compartment below.

Once you arrive at the domestic/internatiobal terminal, there is an elevator that takes yoy directly to the departure/arrival lobby.
The whole process, yoy do not need to carry your bike boxes up/down any stairs.

It is a FAAT, EFFICIENT, SUPER CONVENIENT way to travel with your bike box.

*** We hope the relevant authorities will make further improvement with a bike setup area with storage facility for your bike box upon arrival.***

For now, we assist our clients who join our guided tours with transporting their bike boxes to our storage in downtown Susukino for a reasonable fee.

During our webinar with Sapporo Adventure Tourism Strategy Commitee last Saturday, one of the cycling routes presented is the north-south traverse across Hokkaido. We will send the slides to the participants by next week.
This cycling event in September organised by the committee will be opened for participation once the borders are opened for Japan.
SCT will put up the registration on our fb page as well as our Telegram channel.

We have a Cycling Tour that takes you from southern Hokkaido Hakodate to the northernmost point of Japan of Cape Soya in Wakkanai.

The 750km journey takes you across Hokkaido through Lake Toya, Sapporo, Asahikawa & Nakagawa.
It is a 7-cycle day journey for the avid cyclists who wants to experience the best of Hokkaido on 2 wheels.

If you love dairy, full-creamed milky soft serve, then you would definitely enjoy our Hokkaido Cycling Tours, because we make sure you will get a cone or 2 along the way.

One of our many stops is the Yamanaka Dairy Farm, during our cycling tour from Lake Shikotsu -> Toya -> Niseko Kutchan Mt Yotei --> Otaru and ending in Sapporo.

Another 'Must-Do' ride for every avid cyclist who love challenges, esp long climbs.
