He's a returning client for his 3rd renewal, and he just changed his job for a better company. Now he works for a big company in category 2, Wow!😄👍

I was just informed by a client that her daughter just received permission for change for status of residence from a "short-stay tourist" to a "Long-term resident".😄👍
This time, the client brought her 17 years and 5 months (as of now) old daughter with a short-stay tourist visa to Japan and applied for change for status of residence to a "Long-term resident" visa all by herself.
Then she asked for our help after receiving a request for additional documents submission from the immigration, and the due date of the submission was in 5 days, hay naku!😅😅😅
We talk about her case in detail with help from my Filipina wife, so I can write the reason for application, which was the request from the immigration literally.😄👍
As you can see from the situation above, I could not guarantee the result, but I gave it my best shot, anyway.😅👍
Then, the client just gave the best news to me with flying colors!😄🎊
Congratulations for Ms. F & Ms. J🎊, and I'm feeling really fulfilled and happy for you two.😄👍

Remarks: However, please do not follow her steps.😅
If you'd like to invite your spouse or children with a spouse visa or a Long-term resident visa, please make sure to apply for a COE for them. A change of status of residence from a tourist visa is very risky, and it would cost you a lot more financially than applying for a COE.
Especially, the immigration highly appreciates it if you apply for a COE since a change from tourist visa is basically prohibited.

I just received permission for COE for a "Spouse or child of Japanese National" and a "Long-term resident" for clients, mom and her son!😄👍🎊
(Examination period: 5 days less than 2 months)
Actually, these applications were denied due to unforeseeable reasons, which were given to us by the immigration officer in charge at Tokyo immigration. And then, they took care of the issues on their end, and we applied again, and finally our efforts were recognized with flying colors!😄🎉👍

I just received permission for a COE for a dependent visa for a client!🎊😄👍
(examination period: 7 months 2 weeks)
Lately work related examinations are said to be longer than before, but no worries, this was not the case. The immigration officer in charge of this application asked us to submit a not-so-important additional document in Sep, but the client could not prepare the document due to some issues from his employer's end.
But soon after he's ready to submit it, this permission came without notice.😄 I'm not sure what caused the officer to change her mind, but anyway, I'm feeling fulfilled and happy for the client.😄👍

Just like most cases that we handle, there were some family issues about the client's status, but we talked about it in detail with help from my Filipina wife, so I was able to write a persuasive reason for application.😄👍
In my opinion, it's highly likely going to be permitted, but still please wish us luck anyway.🙏

As you may guess, this client had some family issues, and I talked to him and even his-ex to see what's going on in detail, so I was able to write a convincing reason for application.👍

I just received permission for 4 COE for "Spouse or child of Japanese National" for clients.🎊😄👍
(Examination period: 2 months 10 days)
Actually the applicants are siblings, 1 girl and 3 boys, and their mom is a returning client who we helped invite her husband with the same visa last year, and finally they are together in Japan as a family.❤️👍
And we're planning to let them be Japanese citizens, so it's just the 1st step, but still I'm really happy for them already!😄👍

According to the Immigration officer, the denial reasons were unforeseen.
But, I’m sure we can fix the problems, so we agreed to go ahead with the re-application “for free”.😄👍🏻

Actually we started talking about the application about a year ago, and some issue led to another and it's just a long time coming, but I'm relieved to be able to file it finally.😅👍

I was afraid that they could only have a 6-month visa, but Thank God the mom and child received a 1-year visa again! 🎊😄👍
I'm more than happy because our efforts to convince the immigration that they should have more than a 1-year visa were recognized with flying colors!💪

It may sound like a strange application, but if there is a justifiable reason to do so, they could accept it.👍🏻
