I'm happy to inform all of you that I just received permission for change for status of residence from "Spouse or child of Japanese National" to "Long-term resident" for one of our clients!😄👍🎊
To be honest, this application was difficult to say the least, but with help from my Filipina wife, I can write a persuasive reason for application, and finally our efforts were recognized with flying colors!🎉

[Manila Kyodo News] The Japanese Embassy in the Philippines has begun to severely restrict the acceptance of tourist visa applications by the 29th. The number of Filipinos visiting Japan for tourism has increased sharply due to the weak yen. The embassy is calling for people to apply for tourist visas two months in advance, twice as long as usual, because "the number of visitors continues to increase significantly." This could cause confusion to spread and put a damper on the boom in visits to Japan.
Tourists from the Philippines to Japan usually apply for visas through one of more than five proxy application companies. A travel agency that handles applications in Manila said, "The embassy told us that the daily limit for tourist visa applications will be reduced by about 50% from the current limit."
Applicants flock to each branch of the agency, concerned about the extended review period. Long lines form before the store opens, and many days all application slots are filled by the morning. Some businesses have temporarily suspended application acceptance or switched to a fully reserved system.
The embassy explains that it is preparing to switch to a "visa center system" within the year, in which specific companies will handle all visa procedures other than screening."

I went to Nagoya Immigration to apply for an extension for a designated activities visa for the client again.👍🏻
It’s totally up to the Immigration if it’s permitted or not because this is a very special application because of some legal procedures.
But we turned in some additional backup documents voluntarily just try to convince them of her eligibility, so hopefully we can make it for her again.🤞🏻

I'm happy to let you know that I just received 2 permissions for our clients.😄👍🎊🎉
One is for change for status of residence from "Spouse or child of Japanese national" to "Long-term resident" (Examination period: 3 months & 3 weeks), and the other is extension for status of residence "Spouse or child of Japanese National" (Examination period: 2 months & 10 days).
You may find their examination periods longer than usual, but based on the time when they sent me an email (20:08), they are very busy and working overtime a lot, so please cut them some slack. I'm the one who always talks to them on your behalf, and most of the immigration officers are very nice and hard working people, and I really appreciate their contribution to the visa system.😄👍

Anyway, congratulations🎊 Ms. R and Ms. A, and thanks for your cooperation.🙏 Let's stay in touch.😄👍

(Examination period: 1 month 2 weeks)
Actually he's a returning client, and his status was very good, so I didn't have any worries about it.👍
But, it's nice to see his income keeps growing larger and larger year by year, and just hope for his bigger success in Japan.👍

The client was one of our returning clients, and I was confident about the result, but still, it always makes me happy to receive permission for our clients.😄👍

And here is another update from us, and I just submitted an application for change for status of residence from SSW to Long-term resident.👍
As you may know, it's not an easy application, but with help from my Filipina wife as an assistant, I was able to write an convincing reason for application for them, and now I'm very positive about the result.💪

After coming home and checking the HP of the Immigration, I happened to find some information which could let the applicant be eligible for the visa change.
So, I just called the Immigration to see if they can resume the examination, but an officer said they would accept the same re-application if I added an explanation about her eligibility for the re-application.
Anyway, the Immigration makes mistakes sometimes for sure, so it’s all the more reasons for us to talk to you when it comes to denials for your application, right?😄👍🏻

As always, I just talked to the client with help from my Filipina wife, so I can see the case in detail and write a convincing "reason for application". 😄👍
I'm sure I was able to sort out the situation which the client was in, and hopefully can receive permission soon.😄👍

I just applied online for a COE for a "Long-term resident (for 3rd Gen. Japanese)" for a client.👍
To be honest, we applied for the client before, but it was not permitted. So, we went to the immigration together to receive the reasons for the denial, and we're informed by the immigration officer that it was denied because of unforeseeable reasons. https://www.facebook.com/hattolegal/videos/4041795592810696
So, the clients took care of the issues and came back to us to let us re-apply again, so we just did it.😄👍
Now that there is no concerns about the application any more, I'm really positive about the result, but anyway please wish us luck?🤞🙏

I just went to Tokyo Immigration to hear the reasons for denial for the application done by my client.
As a result, we’re can’t take care of the denial reasons, so she just has to find another sponsor by her expiration date.
And she’s already working on it, and hopefully I can help her secure her extension with the next employer.🤞🏻
