久能山東照宮(Kunouzan Toshogu)

久能山東照宮（くのうざんとうしょうぐう）は、静岡県静岡市駿河区にある神社である。

晩年を駿府で過ごした徳川家康が元和2年（1616年）に死去した後、遺命によりこの地に埋葬された。

50年に一度、社殿を始めとした諸建造物の漆塗り替えが行われており、2006年に社殿の塗り替えが完了した（現在も一部、修復作業中）。

2015年には鎮座四百年を迎えるため、様々な催し物が企画、開催されている。

2010年12月に「本殿、石の間、拝殿」が国宝に指定された。

The Shinto shrine was built in 1617 in honour of TOKUGAWA Ieyasu(1542-1616). With shrewdness by nature and unceasing efforts, he succeeded in bringing the whole country u

nder his sway and made great contributions to peace and culture of Japan today. In his last days after he retired from Sh**unate he lived in Sunpu Castle. He died in 1616, and was buried at Kunouzan Hill according to his will. The second Sh**un, Hidetada, built the shrine that is called Kunouzan Toshogu Shrine. At the present, such buildings as Mausoleum by stone stracture, Main Shrine, Sacred Treasures house, Sacred Dance Hall, Drum Tower and others are designated as "Important Cultural Properties" and the whole region of Kunouzan is also appointed to be a "Historical spot".
