We carried out our guide tour in Ueno Park for the first time in 3 years and 4 months.
In addition, we were happy to reunite with our old guest, a young Danish lady. She brought
her younger sister this time. The weather was fine with partly clouds. It was nice to stroll
on Ueno Hill. We guided 2 ladies to various historical spots and made explanations.
On the way, we found out full-bloomed Azalea, Banksia Rose and Peony after cherry blossom.
We were more impressed with vibrant green of luxuriant foliage of trees than others. It healed and refreshed us. We really enjoyed the half day tour after long time.

Sightseeing Tour in Asakusa with Filipinos May 29th, 2022

とても久しぶりに、ガイドツアーを開催する事になりました。
フィリピンから来た技能実習生の皆さんです。
暑い中、浴衣を来て浅草観光へ。ランチは浅草のくら寿司でした。　ツアーの最後に、代表の実習生から感謝の言葉を頂きました。
こちらこそ、ようこそ日本へ来てくれて、そして私たちと楽しい時間を過ごしてくれて有難うございました。
PEACEのメンバーの方たちも本当にお疲れ様でした。実習生の皆さん、東京を離れてもお仕事頑張ってくださいね。また次に会えるのを楽しみにしています。

過去に私たちのイベントに参加してくれた方、お元気ですか?

私たちは、外国人観光客へ上野・浅草・谷中など観光ガイドを行ったり、書道・折り紙・三味線・着物などの日本の文化を紹介しています。
また、在日外国人や留学生をゲストにお迎えし、お互いの文化や習慣などを英語で情報交換する会も開催しています。

コロナの影響により、外国人との交流が難しい状況が続いています。
日本に在住の日本文化に興味のある外国人の方、外国人に日本文化を紹介したいと思っている方、Zoomでのバーチャルガイドや交流会に参加してみませんか。

How are you, if you have attended our event in the past?

We provide tourist guides to foreign tourists such as Ueno, Asakusa, and Yanaka, and introduce Japanese culture such as calligraphy, origami, shamisen, and kimono.
We also hold a meeting to welcome foreign residents and international students to exchange information in English about each other's culture and customs.

Due to the influence of Corona, it continues to be difficult to interact with foreigners.
