当ツアーの運営母体、有限会社ジェイホッパーズは、
2002年よりバックパッカーズホステル（国際旅人宿）営んでまいりました。
宿のフロントで仕事をしながらよく感じる事なのですが、
がんばってもう一歩足を延ばしてみればもっと旅を楽しんでいただけるのに、
アクセスや予算等の制約により、また情報不足の為に
市内の観光地巡りのみで町を後にされるのを見るにつけ、
少し歯がゆい思いをする事が時々あります。
私達は、その「もう一歩」を提供したいという思いでジェイホップツアーを始める事にしました。
町から少し離れた所にある自然を歩いたり、
地方の素朴な文化や歴史に触れたり、
地元のお祭りに参加したりというような内容の、
気軽でリーズナブルな着地型ツアーを企画してゆければと思っております。
