昔から、そう呼ばれていた熊野は、かつての紀伊国牟婁（むろ）郡、現在の和歌山県南部～三重県南部をさし、現在でもその片鱗がうかがえ、豊かな森に包まれています。
温暖多雨の気候に育てられた豊かな「森」、豊かな森に端を発する「川」、黒潮に育てられた「海岸・海」そのすべてを体験できる紀伊半島熊野地方。

The other day, I had a lesson with a customer who specifically requested me as her instructor.
At first, it was her daughter who had requested me a few times, but after seeing her skiing skills improve, the mother decided to request me next.
She used to ski only on green slopes but finally was able to ski on blue slopes, and said "See you again next year!" when they left.
I was really proud of her and truly happy to hear those words.

We got workshop after the class.
Our colleague who holds a CSIA "Canadian Ski Instructors’ Alliance" certification, conducted a workshop for the instructors.
Wow, it was super, I learned a lot.

Yeah, got in Tomamu Hokkaido.
Ski instructor work will start soon, gonna stay in ski resort till beginning of March.
I will do ski instructor in this winter instead ski patrol.

This year is the Year of the Snake, and I hope to shed one or even more skins and make a great leap forward.
Shinto priests have to draw a picture of the zodiac animal every year, which requires knowledge of calligraphy and painting. I'm glad to be a monk of Shugendo instead....lol.

It was Yatagarasu Shinji at Kumano Hongu Taisha in this evening, the last ceremony on new year week.
This is a ceremony where a seal is stamped on a sacred talisman for the first time this year.

【Guiding】
Happy family from Singapore.
Day3, hiked from Hosshinmon-oji to Kumano HonguTaisha.
It was drizzling in the morning so very good senary in the forest also some nice fogs in the valley during hiking.
And we visited Kumano Nachi Taisha shrine and water fall after Hongu.

It was a bit frosty in the morning when we started hiking but it was nice and fresh air during the day.
