神話の地、鳥取～うさぎがつなぐ神社たち～
日本神話や縁結びにゆかりのある神社といえば、お隣島根県の出雲大社が有名ですね。
だいこくさまの名でも親しまれる大国主命が祀られています。
ここ、鳥取にもそんな日本神話や縁結びとかかわりのある神社があるのをご存じでしたか？
だいこくさまと同じように日本神話に登場する、だけどちょっと小さくてかわいらしい・・・
そう、「因幡のしろうさぎ」です！
鳥取には、そんなしろうさぎに出会うことのできる神社がいくつかあるんですよ。
八上姫にゆかりの売沼神社、天穂日命神社、そしてもちろん白兎神をお祀りした白兎神社・・・
それぞれの神社で、しろうさぎと出会うことができます。
見つけてみてくださいね。
大国主命と八上姫の恋をとりもったとされるしろうさぎは、縁結びの神様でもあるんです。

Tottori, the land of mythology ～Shrines connected by a rabbit～
When thinking of shrines with deep connection to Japanese mythology and matchmaking, our neighboring Shimane Prefecture's Izumo Taisha Shrine is famous.
Okuninushi-no-Mikoto, who is also called Daikoku-sama, is enshrined there.
But did you know you can also find shrines with such mythological connections here in Tottori?
This deity also appears in Japanese myths just like Daikoku-sama, but it's tinier and cuter…
Yes! It's "The White rabbit of Inaba"!!
In Tottori, there are quite a few shrines where you can encounter this white rabbit.
Princess Yakami's Menuma Shrine, Amenohohinomikoto Shrine, and of course, at Hakuto Shrine which enshrines this rabbit god…
Why don't you come visit and find them at each shrine?
White Rabbit is said to have played a matchmaker for Okuninushi-no-Mikoto and Princes

砂と水だけで制作された砂像は、展示期間が終わると二度と同じものを見ることはできません。
砂の美術館は、現在サポートセンターで受け付けています「ぐるっと鳥取周遊タクシー」でも見に行くことができます。

" Travel Around the World in Sand - Czech & Slovakia - " is now being held at the Sand Museum!
Sand sculptures, formed with just sand and water, can never be seen again exactly the same once the exhibition ends.
You can also visit the Sand Museum by Gurutto Tottori Tour Taxi which is currently available at Tottori City International Tourist Support Center.
