Last month, I asked my repeating guests to stay in Kobe rather than Osaka or Kyoto. And they found it out that Kobe is more comfortable with fun as Kobe is a bar city and offers a variety of delicious foods. Also, they found that they are the only foreign tourist roaming around bars and restaurants areas. With port and mountain next each other, you can enjoy much better scenery in Kobe. Stay Kobe. My mission as the nationally licensed tour guide interpreter is to assist my guests to enjoy Japan without hustle. And I am focusing on assisting navigating my guests to visit the areas without the overtourism. I personally don't want to visit the areas with so many fabricated entertainments without any relevance to the region or history. I would like to add some special value to the guests especially when they hire the quality tour guides with the license.

Here, I would like to know how you think of the overtourism in Japan as well as Japanese solutions or reactions to the overtourism as well as the foreign tourists in Japan.

Some may be very upset or see what Japanese are doing against the overtourism or annoying tourists are silly or immature. Or some may consider that those foreign tourists must do some home work before arrival in Japan or observe and understand the way of thinking or behaving of Japanese while they are staying in Japan.

Let me know your idea if you can spare some time.

Huge numbers of tourists are causing chaos at such popular spots as Mount Fuji and Kyoto, leading to some extreme measures to tamp down the crowds.

One of my pleasures to visit the small but historic township in Japan is to visit the local sake breweries. Baba Honten is 300-year-old Sake brewery. I can’t believe it that I am allowed to shoot the photos of national treasures at Ino Tadataka Museum. He is the very first person who measured and draw the Map of Japan scientifically. There are too many people in Tokyo. Some of my guests really want to get out of the overtourism madness in the popular destinations in Japan. And they are desperate to see the real faces of Japan. Though it takes over 2 hours from downtown, here at Sawara in China, you can enjoy the beautiful and historic scenery of Japan which used to enjoy the commercial prosperity in Edo period. He told me that this place is more fun with prestige as the tower is located in the heart of Tokyo.
