皆さんはラーメン、好きですか？

実は、京都府南部の久御山町には美味しいラーメン店がいっぱいあるんです！

魚介、豚骨、鶏白湯、塩、醤油…

店主の情熱を感じる個人店から、歴史ある有名チェーン店まで、行きたいお店が盛りだくさん！

A family-friendly event of Setsubun (the day before the beginning of the seasons, especially spring in the old calendar) will be held at Kyoto Kitcho Shokado on Saturday, February 1, 2025!

(Limited to 20 people, reservations required.)

The event will feature a hands-on activity of rolling ehomaki (sushi roll traditionally enjoyed on Setsubun to bring good luck), and special dishes!

Make ehomaki with the help of a chef, and take a big bite!

(Kids, can you do it well?)

The festive dishes must be delicious, and you can enjoy mochi-tsuki (pounding rice to make chewy rice cakes called mochi), too!

This is a special opportunity to have fun like this at the renowned Japanese restaurant, Kyoto Kitcho Shokado.

ワクワクするような体験を求めて、「茶源郷」和束の「天空カフェ」に行ってきました！

まずは「和束茶カフェ」（京都府相楽郡和束町白栖大狭間３５）で受付です。（２枚目）

こちらで飲み物や和菓子などをGETして、「天空カフェ」のカギをもらってレッツ・ゴー！

周りの自然や茶畑風景を楽しみつつ、軽いハイキング気分で歩いていくと…（３枚目）

可愛い建物に到着です！（４枚目）

中は木の温もりであふれてて、窓からは町ののどかな景色が楽しめました！（５枚目）

なんだか本当に天空に浮かんでるみたい～。

こんな素敵な空間を貸切で楽しめるなんて、特別感でいっぱいです。（来て良かった！）

そして、美味しい煎茶をいただきま～す！（６枚目）

あむっと食べて、お茶を飲んで…

茶どころならではの味わいを大満喫！

のんびりとした時間に癒されました～！

※「天空カフェ」の年末年始のお休みは２０２４年１２月３０日（月）〜２０２５年１月２日（木）です。

和束町には他にも茶畑の絶景や、茶どころならではの色んな食べ物や体験、美味しいお米や野菜、人の温かさなど魅力がいっぱい！

そして２０２５年２月２４日（月・振休）には、「鷲峰山トンネル」（宇治田原町～和束町）も開通予定となっています！（８枚目）

Looking for an exciting experience, I visited Tenku Cafe in Wazuka, the Chagenkyo (Teatopia)!

First, let’s check in at Wazukacha Cafe! (2nd pic)

I got tea, sweets, and the key to Tenku Cafe. So pumped!

Surrounded by beautiful nature and tea fields, it was like a fun, light hike! (3rd pic)

Then, I arrived at this charming cafe. (4th pic)

Entering the room, I was enveloped by the warmth of the wood.

From the window, I could see the peaceful view of the town! (5th pic)

It felt like I was floating in the sky. (So glad I came!)

It's so special to be able to enjoy such a wonderful space as a private room, isn’t it?

Now, time to have some delicious sencha (Japanese green tea)! (6th pic)

With three-colored tea dumplings! (7th pic)

A treat for the eyes, a treat for the tongue.

It’s a great way to enjoy this wonderful region!

I felt so relaxed and refreshed.

(Tenku Cafe will be closed from December 30, 2024 to January 2, 2025.)

Oh, and Wazuka Town will have better access with the opening of the new tunnel (Ujitawara Town - Wazuka Town) on February 24, 2025! (8th pic)

Wazuka is full of charm, with its beautiful tea plantations, food and experiences unique to Chagenkyo, delicious rice and vegetables, and nice, charming and friendly people!

駆け去るように過ぎていく師走の日々、今年も残すところ、もう一週間余りですね💦
今回は、お正月の話題です！

２０２５年１月１日（水・祝）より、木津川市の浄瑠璃寺・岩船寺にて、普段は公開されていない秘仏の新春特別公開が開催されます。

華やかな彩色が美しい吉祥天女（重要文化財）に逢える貴重な機会です！

岩船寺では、秘仏はもちろん、１１３年ぶりの修復から戻ってきた普賢菩薩騎象像（重要文化財）も必見。
普賢菩薩（ふげんぼさつ）は、辰（たつ）年と巳（み）年の守護仏とのことなので、年男・年女のみなさま、新たな年が良い年になるよう、ぜひこの機会に拝観してみてはいかがでしょうか。

なお、岩船寺夜間特別拝観では、秘仏 如意輪観音・弁財天・羅刹天、浄瑠璃寺夜間特別拝観では、吉祥天女（重要文化財）も特別にご拝観いただけます。

夜だからこその静寂に包まれて、仏と向き合い、新たな一年に思いを巡らす豊かな時間と空間。

千年の時を経て、今なお祈りが重なる山城地域ならではの過ごし方です。

夜間特別拝観は、完全予約制となっており、４つのコースからご予約いただけます。
いずれのコースも、JR木津駅発のジャンボタクシーに乗車し、移動も快適！

旧 田山小学校の建物にある「cafe ねこぱん」で、ベーグルランチを楽しんできました！

ノスタルジックな雰囲気に、「当時は子供たちが授業を受けたり、休み時間に走り回ったりしてたのかな〜」なんて色んな想像が膨らみます。

そんな校舎内の教室で、さっそくランチを注文してみると…

なんと、当時使われていた粘土板に乗って出てきました。（なんて嬉しい心づかい！）

ベーグルは数種類から選べたので、クリームチーズ＆ローズマリーにしてみました。

かむほどに広がる、やさしい味わい！

お洒落な風味に癒されて、心まで豊かになりました。

他にもこの日はたっぷりのサラダやバルサミコポテトなど…どれも美味しくて幸せいっぱい！

ローストポークには、蜂蜜などを使用したマスタードソースがかかってました！

そして食後に、村のブルーベリーを使用したスムージーも注文。

濃厚な美味しさに、思わず目が丸くなりました！

そんなねこぱんさんがあるエリアには、真っ赤な高山橋や圧巻の高山ダム、日本遺産「日本茶800年の歴史散歩」の構成文化財「田山 ツルギの茶畑」などがあります。

皆さんもぜひ、村の「素敵」をいろいろ見つけてみて下さいね！

I had a delightful bagel lunch at Cafe Nekopan, which is in the old building of the former Tayama Elementary School!

The nostalgic atmosphere made me imagine children studying, playing, and running around here and there.

It was amazing to have lunch in the quaint room that was used as a classroom at that time.

I ordered my lunch, and then, it arrived on a clay board that students actually used. Sweet!

I chose the cream cheese and rosemary bagel from the options, by the way.

The flavor was so comforting and satisfying with every bite.

Its sophisticated taste calmed me and made my heart feel full.

Along with the bagel, there was a big salad, Balsamic Potatoes, and more.

I was so happy, everything was so good!

The roast pork was topped with tasty mustard sauce made with honey!

After the great meal, I ordered a smoothie made with local blueberries, too.

It was so rich and flavorful. Amazing!

The area where Cafe Nekopan is located is home to many other wonderful sights: the red and beautiful Takayama Bridge, the impressive Takayama Dam, and the Tayama Tsurugi Tea Plantation that is a part of the Japan Heritage, and so on.

I highly recommend visiting Minamiyamashiro Village and discovering its hidden gems for yourself!

「まるで海外の街を旅している気分！」「絵画のような芸術的な美しさ！」

そんな素敵な道が、精華町にあるんです。

それが精華大通り！

長〜いメタセコイア並木が続いていて、とってもいい雰囲気。（ルンルン！）

季節によって緑、黄、オレンジ色、レンガ色…と移ろいゆく並木道に、自然と心がときめきます！

今回訪れたのは１２月３日。

最近寒くなってきましたが、今の季節は心の温度を上げてくれるかのように、温もりを感じる色合いになるんですよね〜。

ゆったりとした広い通りは、ドライブすると気持ちいい！

空を見上げたり、お話ししながら並木道をお散歩するのもとっても楽しい！

美しい景色を背景に写真を撮ったり、家族や恋人、お友達との何てことのない会話がいい思い出になったりもします。

並木道周辺には素敵なカフェ、ベーカリー、パティスリー、公園なども色々あるので、散策するのも楽しいですよ！

「今日はどこに行こうかな？」と思わずワクワク！

There's an amazing boulevard like this in Seika Town.

It's Seika-Odori!

The long boulevard, lined with metasequoia trees, exudes a wonderful atmosphere. (Yay!)

The trees change color as the seasons go by, from green to yellow, orange, and brick red.

They always make my heart flutter!

I recently went there on December 3rd.

It's been getting colder these days.

In this season, the trees turned such a warm color, as if to warm our hearts.

The wide boulevard is perfect for a drive.

It's also a lot of fun to look up at the sky or take a leisurely stroll while chatting with loved ones.

Taking pictures with the beautiful scenery is enjoyable, and even a casual conversation with my family, partner, or friends always becomes cherished memories here.

Moreover, with great cafes, bakeries, patisseries, and parks around here, it's so much fun to explore this area!

I always get excited thinking, "Where should I go today?"

今年もクリスマスシーズンがやって来ましたね〜！

なんだかウキウキしてくるこの季節、皆さんはどんな風に過ごされますか？

クリスマスツリーを飾ったり、音楽をかけたり…

「イルミネーションを見に行きたいな〜」という方も多いのではないでしょうか。

ということで今回訪れたのは、城陽市内で開催中の「光のページェント TWINKLE JOYO 2024」！

１２月２５日（水）まで、城陽市総合運動公園レクリエーションゾーン（鴻ノ巣山運動公園／LOGOS LAND）で開催（※）されています。

※点灯時間は１７時３０分〜２１時３０分
※開催期間中、市内にある複数の施設でもイルミネーションが楽しめます。

今回のテーマは「おもちゃの世界 ～ちゃちゃちゃ おもちゃのちゃっちゃっちゃ～」！

昨年はホラーな雰囲気が楽しめましたが、今年はまた違った雰囲気！

あっちを見ても、こっちを見ても、キラキラしていてキレイで可愛い！

周りを見ても、家族で記念撮影をしている人や「きれい！」と目を輝かせる子供たちなどなど、皆さん楽しそうでした！

それに「光のマーケット」もあって、美味しいグルメも味わえるなどHAPPYがいっぱい！

特別な夜のひとときを過ごせる、とっても素敵なイベントです。

「期間中に何度も来る！」という人もおられるようですよ！

家族でおでかけしたり、夜デートで訪れたり、お友達と写真や動画を撮り合ったり…

Christmas season is here again!

I can’t help but feel excited this time of year.

How are you spending this season?

Decorating a Christmas tree and listening to Christmas songs are wonderful.

Perhaps you're thinking, “I wanna go see some Christmas lights!”

Well, I recently visited Twinkle Joyo in Joyo City!

It’s being held until December 25th at the Recreation Zone of Joyo City Sports Park (Konosuyama Sports Park / Logos Land).
(Lighting hours are from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Some other facilities in the city also have illuminations during the event period.)

This year, you can enjoy charming decorations of the world of toys!

Last year, it had a spooky vibe, and this year, it’s completely different.

Everywhere you look, it's sparkling, cute and beautiful!

I saw families taking pictures, and a kid with shining eyes saying “Beautiful!”

Everyone seemed to be having a great time!

There's also a market where you can enjoy delicious food and drink, making it even more enjoyable!

Twinkle Joyo is a perfect way to spend a special night!

I heard some people come to this event more than twice in a year.

Whether you're with your family, on a date, or hanging out with friends, come make wonderful memories!

It's fun to take photos and videos, too!

１１月２５日（月）、笠置寺（京都府相楽郡笠置町笠置笠置山２９）に紅葉を見に行ってきました！

お寺に到着すると…

思わず「わあっ！」と声を上げる美しさ。（２枚目）

色彩のハーモニーが目にも鮮やか！

まるでパレットからこぼれ落ちたみたいな素敵な色たちに、心の底から癒されます。（うっとり。）

穏やかな気持ちでお参りしたら、てくてく歩いて…

山からの景色もゆっくり堪能！（４枚目）

開放的な気分になって、すっかり心がリフレッシュ！

そして、もみじ公園へ！（５枚目）

いつ訪れてもほのぼの温かい気持ちに包まれる、どこか優しい雰囲気の公園。

紅葉に囲まれた空間で、移りゆく季節を全身で体感！

太陽の光が差すと、なんだか紅葉のシャワーを浴びているような気分になりました。

“Let’s go see the fall foliage in Kasagidera Temple!”

Then, I went to Kasagi Town in Kyoto on November 25th.

Arriving at the temple, I couldn't help but exclaim, 'Wow!' at its breathtaking beauty. (Photo 2)

The harmonious colors were a feast for the eyes!

It was as if someone had spilled a palette of colors!

I was completely enchanted.

I paid my respects at the temple feeling calm, and took a leisurely stroll.

Then, I saw the stunning view from the mountain! (Photo 4)

I felt so refreshed and open-minded.

And Kasagiyama Momiji Park was wonderful, too! (Photo 5)

It has a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes me feel at ease whenever I visit.

Surrounded by the fall colors, I experienced the changing seasons deeply!

When the sunlight filtered through the leaves, it felt like I was bathing in a shower of the fall foliage.

You can enjoy this park’s momiji leaves lit up beautifully until November 30th, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, too. (Photo 6, taken in 2023)

There are many other beautiful spots to see fall foliage in the Kyoto Tea Country area.

皆さんは「ハート」から、どんなことを連想しますか？

愛情？

しあわせ？

温もりでしょうか？

寒くなってくるこのシーズン。

今回は大切な人との心の距離も縮まりそうな、とっても素敵なスポットをご紹介します！

それが、宇治田原町の正寿院（京都府綴喜郡宇治田原町奥山田川上１４９）。

四季折々の魅力があって、お昼に訪れてもフォトジェニックで素敵だし、ライトアップにもぜひ訪れたい！

そんな、老若男女を魅了するお寺です。

訪れたのは、今年の夜間特別拝観紅葉ライトアップ【観紅会】（※）の初日に当たる１１月２３日。

※１１月２３日（土・祝）・２４日（日）・２９日（金）・３０日（土）に開催中

山あいの道を登っていくうちに、まるで日常を離れて違う世界にやってきたような気分になりました。

お寺に着いて、客殿（則天の間）に入ると…（おじゃまします！）

「わ！キレイ！」

夜ならではの素晴らしい光景に、一目で心を奪われます！

思わずため息がもれるような美しい眺め…

人って目の前の光景にただただ夢中になると、頭の中が空っぽになるんですね！

「きっとカップルや家族で訪れても素敵だろうなあ」なんて考えているうちに、心にぽっと灯りが点ったような、温かい気持ちに包まれていました。

When you think of the word “heart,” what comes to mind?

As the weather gets colder, I wanna share a wonderful place where you can feel closer to your loved ones!

That place is Shoujuin in Ujitawara Town, Kyoto.

It's a charming temple that attracts people of all ages with its seasonal views!

I'm captivated by its beauty, both during the day and when it's illuminated in the evening.

I had a chance to visit on November 23rd, the first day of their special illumination event this year.

(The event is held on November 23rd, 24th, 29th, and 30th.)

As I went up the mountain road, I felt like I had stepped into a different world, far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

I arrived at the temple, and went into the room with the great view of the illuminations.

"Beautiful!"

The amazing spectacle took my breath away.

It’s a special view that you can only see in the evening!

I couldn't help but sigh at the beauty before me.

When you're truly engrossed in something, your mind becomes completely clear, right?

I was thinking nothing, just feeling how nice that place was.

Then, I imagined how wonderful it would be to visit with loved ones.

It felt like a warm light was lit inside me.

I highly recommend that you visit this place for yourself!

正法寺（京都府相楽郡和束町南下河原７１）

モミジやイチョウを楽しめる和束町内の紅葉の名所。
静かな雰囲気でゆっくりと紅葉が楽しめます。

モミジやイチョウの奥には、釜塚の茶畑！
宇治茶の主産地、和束町ならではの景色です。

近くにある「和束茶カフェ」には、生産者こだわりのお茶がたくさん並んでいます。
レンタサイクルの受付、MAPなども揃い、観光案内の拠点なので、あわせて訪ねてくださいね。

海住山寺（京都府木津川市加茂町例幣海住山２０）のライトアップは、１１月２２日（金）〜２４日（日）の３日間（※）！

悠久の時を超え、夜空に浮かび上がる国宝 五重塔。

本堂の特別夜間拝観では、本尊の十一面観音立像を拝むこともできます。

皆さんは雉（きじ）料理を食べたことはありますか？

「一度食べてみたい！」という方は、笠置山（京都府・笠置町）へおでかけするのも良いですよ！

今回訪れたのは明治２３年創業の老舗「自遊宿・料理旅館松本亭」。

笠置寺のそばにある、とっても素敵な所です！

ワクワクしながら、松本亭内のお食事処「和cafe鹿鷺（かさぎ）」で名物の雉料理（要事前予約）をいただくことに。

「笠置山定食」では雉の小鍋や鉄板焼き、釜飯などが味わえます！

口へ運ぶと…ぷりっぷり！

弾力があって、クセがなくて美味しいです！

旨みたっぷりで、想像以上にジューシーで…それでいて食べた後はさっぱりとした感覚！

これはまた何度でも食べたいなあ〜。

そして笠置山と言えば、１１月２４日（日）に笠置山もみじ公園で開催される「もみじまつり〜秋色の祭典～」も見逃せません。

地域の特産品が販売されたり、筝の演奏や折り紙が楽しめたり、笠置町案内キャラクター「笠やん」にも会えますよ！

※１１月３０日（土）までは、毎日もみじ公園の夜間ライトアップも開催中

そしてさらに…

今のシーズンといえば、運が良ければ笠置山から雲海が眺められます！（５枚目の写真は、幻想的な雲海と神々しい朝日！）

いつも見られるとは限りませんが、見られたら一生の思い出になりそう！

Have you ever tried pheasant?

If you're curious about it, consider a trip to Mt. Kasagi in Kasagi Town (southern Kyoto)!

I recently visited a long-established inn, Matsumototei, which opened in 1890.

(Advance reservations are required even if you're just eating. To order only from the cafe menu, no reservation is needed, so you can just drop by if they're open.)

It's a wonderful place located close to Kasagidera Temple.

I was so excited to try their famous pheasant dishes!

I had a pheasant pot, grilled pheasant, pheasant rice and more. The pheasant was so good with a bouncy texture! It didn’t have any unique, strong flavors, and I enjoyed its rich taste! It was much juicier than I expected, yet it didn't feel heavy. I could definitely eat this again and again!

Speaking of Mt. Kasagi, there's a fun event at the nearby park on November 24th (11:00 am - 3:30 pm)! You can buy local products, enjoy music with koto (a traditional Japanese instrument) and origami (Japanese art of paper folding), and meet the town’s mascot, Kasayan. And the Japanese maple trees of the park are illuminated every evening until November 30th, too.

Also, if you're lucky, you might be able to see a sea of clouds from the mountain! It would be amazing to stay at Matsumototei and watch it with the rising sun!

国内外から多くの観光客の方々が訪れる、世界遺産「平等院」（京都府宇治市宇治蓮華１１６）。

今年はさらに大河ドラマ「光る君へ」（NHK）の放送もあり、一層注目を集めています。

今回はそんな平等院で本日から始まる、夜間特別拝観 「瑞光照歓 －錦秋のあかり－」（※）の様子をお伝えしたいと思います！

※１１月１６日（土）～１２月１日（日）までの土・日のみ開催

鳳凰堂の前に池が広がる光景は、西方極楽浄土さながらの美しさ。

やわらかい光が境内を包む夜間拝観では、約千年変わらぬ空間の美しさを月あかりの下で感じ取ることができます。

荘厳な光景を目の前にすると、静かな感動が込み上げてきました。

黄金の阿弥陀如来坐像や鳳凰も美しく、思わず心を奪われ、しばらく見とれてしまいます。

ーゆらり。

わずかな風に、ゆらめく水面。

すると逆さの鳳凰堂が、そこに閉じ込められた悠久の美を静かに解き放ったように感じました。

まるで夢や幻を見たかのような素晴らしいひととき。

平安の息吹に誘われて、雅やかな気分に包まれました。

The World Heritage Site, Byodoin Temple welcomes countless tourists from both domestic and overseas. This year, thanks to the NHK's historical drama series “Hikarukimie,” it’s drawing even more attention.

Today, I’d like to share with you the temple’s special viewing in the evening, Night Special Visiting “Radiant Light and Autumn Brilliance.”

I took the pictures on November 14th, and the special viewing will start this evening! (You can enjoy it only on Saturdays and Sundays from November 16th to December 1st. Advanced online booking required.)

I visited the temple and felt that the Phoenix Hall, with its peaceful pond in front, was as beautiful as the Pure Land. Together with the moonlight, you can experience the beauty of this place that has been unchanged for nearly a thousand years thanks to the soft and natural light. Gazing upon this majestic sight filled me with a profound sense of tranquility.

The golden Amida Buddha (Amida Nyorai) and phoenix birds were amazing, too. They captivated my heart and left me spellbound.

Gently, the water surface rippled in the slight breeze.

I felt as if the upside-down Phoenix Hall quietly released the eternal beauty it held within. It was a magical moment, as if I experienced a dream or a vision. I felt so peaceful, enveloped in an elegant atmosphere like the Heian period.
