A full course Kaiseki dinner will consist of anywhere from seven to fourteen courses. Started with an appetizer that consists of bamboo shoots with ume plum paste.
Side dish: carrot sponge cake, sweet peaches and pear Hajikami
Main dishes: Grilled pork loin with ume plum aroma
Tempura: prawns, sakura shrimps, ume salt
Sashimi: tuna, yellowtail, bluefin squid, red prawn
Hot dishes: steamed egg custard

While eating, the Geishas entertained us with their songs and dances. The main function of the geisha is to provide an atmosphere of chic and gaiety and they are dressed in traditional kimonos. They danced gracefully with their movements so finesse.
