Monkey Beach House is the prime house within the Tamani @ Galu Beach property. It is only 60 metres from the beach and has stunning views of the Indian Ocean. The five-bedroom tropical home, adorned in contemporary Swahili architecture offers a wide choice of indoor and outdoor lounging and dining spaces, to make your holiday stay comfortable.
Perfect for families, for parties, for group gatherings or honeymoon. This is where you can come and be spoiled by our cooks - eat fabulously-fresh seafood, caught daily by local fishermen; try the local Swahili dishes, inspired and influenced by the ancient sea-trade from India, Arabia and Africa.
Enjoy magnificent views of the gardens, pool and the sea from all angles of the house.You can sit at the dining table on the 1st-floor balcony and watch the dhows sail slowly by and, occasionally, the camels loping along the beach. Parents can relax and enjoy the views while keeping an eye on their kids in the children's pool. There are loads of entertaining spaces as well as quiet corners to get away from the crowd.
If you are active, this is an ideal place for kite-surfing, windsurfing, diving, snorkeling and sailing to the reef in one of the local outrigger sail boats, called 'ngalawa'. You can walk for miles on the beach and swim in the clear, warm water all day!
