The dominant male leads these social groups called prides, but majority of the hunting is done by the lionesses. Do you know why?

Meet the Dik-dik, one of the smallest and most fascinating antelopes you will find in the wilds of Kenya! These petite creatures stand at 30-40 cm tall, and are named after the sound they make when startled.

🌍Habitat: These interesting antelopes live in arid and shrubby regions like Tsavo National Park.

🌿Diet: Theses tiny antelopes are herbivores primarily eat leaves, shoots, and fruits.

🚨 Defence mechanism: Despite their sizes, dik-diks are nimble and use speed and disguise to elude predators.

These small creatures might be small, but they are truly a marvel of nature's design!
