The Castle has 2 double bedrooms and 3 private sleeping areas on the mezzanine. There are 6 beds in total (2 single, 1 double, 2 queen and 1 king) so suitable for groups of friends as well as families (no children under 15 years of age)
The Castle boasts a modern interior with a super comfortable Italian leather sofa, 6 seater mahogany dining table and open plan kitchen. There is a also a library with a variety of books and magazines as well as board games for your entertainment. The lounge has a TV, DVD player and hundreds of DVD's for those wanting to relax while watching a movie. The balcony is the perfect place to sit back with a beverage and gaze across the valley while your favourite meat sizzles on the gas BBQ grill. The Cave is the ideal getaway. Private, warm and cozy there is no better place to surprise your loved one with a weekend or mid-week break from the bustle of Nairobi. Wake up in the morning to magnificent views from the Queen size bed perfectly positioned to maximise the expansive view. Enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of bubbly from the shaded wooden deck or laze on the natural rock "lounge" with fluffy pillows. There are a selection of books to choose housed in the one of kind natural rock book shelf. The rear wall is natural rock, perfectly balancing modern contemporary design with nature. As the sun goes down the focus shifts from the views to the rock wall water feature nestled in the cave. The compact kitchen offers all the amenities one could need from pots and pans, utensils, cutlery and crockery to wine glasses, fridge and gas cook top, to a gas BBQ grill on the wooden deck. The separate bathroom offers a shower with instant gas hot water. The Cave boasts its own solar power and water catchment system. The Cave sleeps 1-2 in a Queen size bed. Rates for 2023:

The Tower details:
The Tower is a cute 2 storey cottage next to The Castle. This quaint, quirky and just a little eccentric guest house is perfect for a couple looking for a budget getaway destination. The ground floor boasts a custom designed space saver queen size bed that conveniently folds away, a functional equipped kitchenette complete with gas cooker, grill and warming oven, dining table for 2 and separate hot shower and toilet. Double french doors open to a private patio area with blossoming flowers, outdoor dining setting, gas BBQ grill and views of the Ngong Hills. The perfect spot to enjoy a morning cuppa or watch the sun go down in the evening. Upstairs is accessible through a trap door in the ceiling and boasts a unique suspended king size day/night bed with inbuilt library! Comfy large pillows and gentle swaying while looking out at the incredible view of the Great Rift Valley promotes total relaxation. There is a table and 2 director chairs for those wanting to enjoy a meal or a sundowner and snacks. The kitchen is compact with a gas cooker, grill and warming oven as well as a fridge. The perfect getaway for a couple looking for a child-free self catering weekend to reconnect, relax and revive. The unique design capitalizes on the distinctive features of a traditional dhow without compromising on comfort. As you drive down the steep driveway you are immediately transformed to another world with an impressive Swahili entrance complete with Zanzibar door. Through the entrance to a boardwalk leading you to the stairs to The Dhow. The large wooden deck is the perfect place to lay your yoga mat or simply hang the hammock and chill. The gas BBQ grill and outdoor furniture makes self catering a breeze. Through the impressive door to the living area boasting a 3 and 1 seater sofa, dining table and compact kitchen complete with gas cook-top and fridge. The kitchen is complete with pots, pans, cutlery, crockery and utensils. The 3 unique doors open the living area to the wooden deck and the fresh Rift Valley air and sunshine. A short hall leads you to the bathroom or the "engine room" complete with copper pipes and a hot shower. The Nest details:
The Nest is our latest addition, completed in December 2020. The Nest is a private, airy and spacious self catering cottage with 180 degree panoramic views sweeping across the Rift Valley. It is the perfect place to lay in the hammock or relax on the 3 seater sofa and unwind. The one-of-a-kind custom built King size bed with hotel quality mattress and imported linen guarantees a deep restful sleep. The gas BBQ grill on the outside patio makes self catering a breeze. The living spaces face the incredible vista, the bedroom doors open to the magical landscape; the perfect setting to wake up and enjoy a morning coffee. You will be amazed how the scenery changes throughout the day as the sun moves from behind to the front of the cottage. The sunsets alone will leave you in awe of Champagne Ridge. The large patio area boasts a hammock, outdoor furniture and the all important gas BBQ grill. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need including a 3 burner gas cooktop, fridge, pots, pans, crockery and utensils. We also supply milk, coffee, tea and sugar as well as salt and pepper. The bathroom is special! The Area
The area is surrounded with bush, open spaces and resident wildlife. Enjoy peaceful walks along the edge of the cliff or venture to the valley floor for a more invigorating hike. You are more than welcome to bring your bikes (motorbike, cycle, quad bike) and explore the area. We have a small workshop just in case you need some small repairs. We are not far from the famous Olepolos Nyama Choma restaurant, Olorgesailie, Masai Ostrich Farm, Lake Magadi, Champagne 4x4 Rally Park off-road centre and Orly Airpark. There are beautiful drives and picnic spots near The Castle for those wanting to get out and about and explore the area. Added services:
The Castle, The Cave, The Tower, The Nest and The Dhow are self catering holiday homes and while you are on holiday we want to respect your privacy as much as possible. Therefore we provide cleaning services after you have left. Please note we do not have a resident chef. No parties or loud music is permitted. We are self catering only, no chef, no daily housekeeping (weekly cleaning is included on longer stays) and no catering facilities. The closest shops are in Kiserian town 18kms away, so please be sure to bring food, drinks and condiments with you. There are phone numbers in the inhouse information sheet for bodas based in Kiserian who can shop and deliver if your supplies run low.
