Malindi and Watamu Beach Tourism at the Vasco Da Gama Pillar was constructed over 500 years ago by the Portuguese who were running Slave Trade between Africa, India, Europe, Arabian Peninsula and the Americas! The slave markets and the harbors, caves and military garrisons where the slave, gold, salt and spices merchants, are still intact as they have been managed and restored as historical monuments by the National Museums of Kenya.
The following archeological sites are the most visited touristic attracts along the Kenyan coast by tourists, researchers, archeologists, conservationists and environmentalists.

As part of my ecotourism, permaculture and climate action activism, I direct an ecotourism travel agency, and Armstrong Weekender Adventures LLC to educate vacationers, educate school children and students, and offer opportunities for volunteers, environmentalists, conservationists and agronomists to LEARN, NETWORK and PARTNER with local communities and stakeholders under ; Climate Action for Agroforestry and Biodiversity Project; , BUTTERFLY and TURTLES Conservation; Capital Youth Caucus Association (CYCA), and the Kehosa Regenerative Organic Agriculture Center (KROAC).
Simple actions: Plant Trees; Beach Cleaning ( SolidWater Management); Learning and Practicing Permaculture; Education and Nutrition ( Providing fortified porridge and fruits from the farmers under Kehosa Regenerative Organic Agriculture Center). We are piloting the planting of trees and conserving biodiversity at Arabuko-Sokoke Forest, Kilifi County; Cheparungu Forest, Bomet County and Shimba Hills Forest, Kwala County in strategic collaboration with Kenya Forest Service, Kenya Wildlife Service and local Forest Association(CFAs) as well as all stakeholders.
We organize Armstrong Weekender Adventures LLC and KROAC CLIMATE ACTION & ECOTOURISM Friday through Sunday or more days depending on time and budget of guests.
