Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park Adventure Itinerary

Morning: Departure from Diani Beach / Wasini Island

- 6am -7:00 AM: Pick up from your accommodation in Mombasa or Diani Beach or meet at a designated point. Enjoy a scenic drive to Wasini Island, which takes around 1-2 hours.

-9:00 AM: Arrival at Wasini Island. Get acquainted with your guides and fellow adventurers as you prepare for the activities ahead.

Mid-Morning: Dolphin Watching & Swimming

- 9:30 AM: Board a traditional dhow boat for a safari through the azure waters of the Indian Ocean.
- 10:00 AM:Keep your eyes peeled for playful dolphins. The waters around Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park are known for their resident dolphin pods. If conditions allow, you may have the chance to swim with them, creating memorable moments.

Late Morning: Snorkeling Adventure

- 11:00 AM: Arrive at designated snorkeling spots. Here, you’ll don your snorkeling gear and dive into the vibrant underwater world of Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park
- 11:15 AM - 12:15 PM: Explore coral reefs teeming with colorful fish, stunning sea turtles, and other marine life. Experienced guides will be on hand to assist and share insights about the ecosystem.

Afternoon: Wasini Lunch Experience

- 1:30 PM: After lunch, take a leisurely stroll around the island. Engage with the local community, visit traditional shops, or simply enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Late Afternoon: Explore the village of Wasini with a walk inside the Swahili village learn new culture..

3:30 PM: Return Journey
Begin the journey back to shimoni and then drive back to your accommodation in Diani or Mombasa Arrive back, filled with memories of a day spent swimming with dolphins, exploring coral reefs, and enjoying the flavors of Swahili cuisine.
