Travel operators, be cautious! A scammer going by the name Mark Owen recently contacted me, pretending to be a client interested in booking a safari to Maasai Mara. He claimed he would send a down payment through Payless, but in reality, he tricked me and scammed $50 via M-Pesa.

If you are in the tourism industry, please stay alert and DO NOT fall for his tricks. Always verify payments before proceeding with any bookings. Let’s protect each other from fraudsters like this!
