WILD N πŸ†“
Leopards can stand on their back legs to see farther when there are no available affording points to climb, when they are scared of movements on the grass and not visible to them and also when they're hunting.
Leopards are ambush hunters. They adopt, stealth and stalk their prey quietly, preferring the element of surprise over long chases.
Leopards are opportunistic , versatile huntersΒ and have a very broad diet.Β

African sunset....

If you have been to Kenya , you will know that the sunsets and sun rises here are spectacular. This is due, to theΒ  large amount of dust in the atmosphere which helps to refract light from the sun and paint the sky in those brilliant orange , yellow and reds.
This dust can blow all the way to other continents and create more intense sunsets in other places as well.

The Dung beetles roll a perfectly round ball of dung and take it in a special nesting place underground and lay their eggs on it so that the larvae can feed on the dung.
The balls they make called brood ball are either used by the female to lay her eggs in or as food for the adults to eat.
Dung beetles play an important and remarkable role in the pasture ecosystem by improving nutrient cycling, soil structure, and forage growth.
Kenya safari is so special, interesting and magnificent to have a full experience and amazing memories.

Why lions of lake Nakuru national park climb trees?
WILD N πŸ†“
The unique attractions of the park is the tree climbing lions found in the park. These lions are known for their unusual behavior of climbing trees, though they are not natural tree climbers, which is believed to be due to the hot temperatures, biting flies on the ground and thorny weeds bushes that has led to over grazing in the park.
They also do climb trees to Their motivation may be to avoid attacks by the park’s buffaloes( the park has the highest number of population of buffaloes in all of our destinations ) which could be adversely affecting lion numbers.
Also climb trees to steal food from the Leopard.
This learned ability is likely what led to present-day tree-climbing lions.

Why birds eyes πŸ‘€ is 50% head size and migrate?

A bird's eye takes up about 50 percent of its head; our eyes take up about 5 percent of our head. To be comparable to a bird's eyes, our eyes would have to be the size of baseballs. The penguin is the only bird that can swim, but not fly. It is also the only bird that walks upright.
During autumn and early winter, birds travel yearly from their nesting place to warmer lands. They return during spring and early summer. So migrationΒ is one of the greatest mysteries of bird life.

Why Safari Masai Mara Kenya?.

A trip to Masai Mara National Reserve is a safari Tour like no other , it's one of the largest game reserves in Kenya, widely considered to be Africa’s greatest wildlife reserve. It also hosts the Great Migration, which secured it as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa, and as one of the ten Wonders of the World. it's a paradise Heaven rich with flora and fauna but in this plains savannah of Masai Mara, lions are the dominant predators.
There's an African proverb that says " SAFARI ADVENTURE IN THE JUNGLE WITHOUT GREETING THE LIONS IS NOT ADVENTURE?"
These wildlife species are carnivores and they prey on wildlife species such as wildebeest, zebras, warthogs, buffalos, antelopes but they are having a high competition with the hyenas by stealing each other's prey.
Approximately 850 to 900 lions live within the Masai Mara National Reserve and surrounding conservancies. The Mara-ecosystem is one of the world's premier locations to spot this mighty beast in the wild. Lions are one of the most sociable big cat predators and they generally live in prides of fifteen to twenty lions.

In memory......
Masai Mara.
Poor kasaru Cheetah ... ......
Found this morning Dead and her 6 month old cub was alone and lonely... Calling and crying for the mother....
While the hyenas were feeding on her body........
Her death remains a mystery In the jungle... Family... So sad....
But suspected that may be she was killed by lions as she was trying to defend her single remaining cub...

Nature can be so cruel 😭 sometimes.

Did you know that Β blue-eyed big cats are quite rare in the wild?
Blue eyes in big cats areΒ often the result of the genetic mutation that affect pigmentation.

Why Elephants Trunks are Luck?

The elephant raises its trunk to greet friends and express happiness. Place an elephant with an upward trunk to be showered with good fortune and compassion, new energy, luck, prosperity and kindness.
Elephants use their trunks in a variety of ways. They use it to drink, and can be able to suck up water to drink which contains up to 8 litres at once. They also use their trunks as a snorkel when swimming, store and spray water, also blow air through it to communicate β€” their 110-decibel bellows can be heard for miles.
They also have Upto around 150,000 muscle units in their trunk. Their trunks are perhaps the most sensitive organ found in any mammal.
