An authentic safari camp that certainly lives up to its name. Roho ya Selous, meaning "heart" or "soul of the Selous, holds a superlative position in the centre of the core game viewing area of the recently renamed Nyerere National Park.

Unlike the grassy plains up north, Nyerere's marshy landscape of palm trees, lakes, and rivers is home to a healthy denizen of elephant, buffalo, lion, hippo, leopard, and one the largest populations of wild dog on the continent.

Explore on foot, from a game vehicle, or by boat for an unrivalled safari experience in one of the lesser travelled parts of East Africa, where spotting wildlife is more common than fellow safari-goers.
