A few days ago, we spotted a leopard 🐅 just beyond the camp's car parking area. We jumped into our car for a closer look. It was a young male leopard, a bit tense with all the attention he was getting but otherwise remarkably unafraid. We always struggle to identify our leopards because we don't see them very often, but think this might be 🐅Kini's son, who separated from her a few months ago, having come back briefly to visit the territory where he had grown up. It was an all too brief a sighting, as the sub-adult cat went into the Olare Lemuny watercourse and then vanished in the tall grass on the other side.
