Tongai popping in for a quick hello! ๐๐ฝ Tongai is a rescued Grevy Zebra who now lives at Sarara Camp until he is old enough to be rewilded.
Tongai is one of only 2,800 highly endangered Grรฉvy Zebra between northern Kenya and southern Ethiopia. Over the past 30 years, the population of Grevyโs has dropped 54%.
Habitat loss, grazing competition with livestock, predation and poaching s a serious threat to the Grevyโs survival. It is our hope that community led conservation will ensure that these incredible animals are protected for generations to come.

Throughout the year the Masai Mara is a place of natural drama, a kaleidoscope of colour and life. It offers the best game and bird-viewing not only in Kenya, but anywhere in Africa.
With an abundance in wildlife and birdlife alike, and being just over an hour away from Nairobi, itโs no wonder why Lake Naivasha is so popular. A birding tour to this lake is a must!

Sitting at Lake Elementeita listening to the frogs with Bombay Sapphire gin martini in hand. Fabulous day at Lake Nakuru National Park...both black and white rhinos, baboons galore, zebras, Rothchild giraffes, so many wonderful birds I cannot count. Flamingos, pelicans, storks, eagles, etc.
Scenery wonderful. Serena even better...massages, manicures were essential after Il Ngwesi. Il Ngwesi was so amazing in its own way. The leopards and baboons were vocalizing under the almost full moon while we slept under the stars on the deck of our Banda...
Wonderfulness all.
