We have 91 Antelope species in Africa and 12 of those are found here in Kenya, forming the integral part of Kenya's ecosystem which include; Beisa oryx, Cokes Hartebeest, Common Eland, Gerenuk, Impala, Kirk's Dik Dik, Thompson and Grants Gazelle, Topi, Common Waterbuck, Blue Wildebeest.

The Grant's gazelle stands out as the most commonly spotted, frequently found in the vast open savannas and grasslands. Known for its beauty and resilience, this gazelle is easily distinguished by its slender form, white underbelly, and the graceful, lyre-shaped( U-Shaped) horns of the males. It is found in both arid and semi-arid landscapes.

In both Lake Nakuru National Park in Kenya and Lake Manyara National Park in Tanzaniaits quite common, which offer them a perfect vantage point to survey the landscape for prey. This height not only helps them keep an eye out for potential threats, especially for their cubs, but also allows them to watch for dangers like hyenas, buffaloes, or encroaching rival lions. The Accacia trees provide a relaxing spot to escape from bothersome flies.
