β’When viewing game, switch off the engine.
β’Do not hurry or rush guests; allow questions, translations and quite where appropriate.
β’Warn guests about standing and making unnecessary noise.
β’Position your guests in the best view points for photographs
β’Always remain at a safe and and comfortable distance from animals as your guests may feel uncomfortable being so close to an animal.
β’Focus on your guests interests.
β’Do not overload guests with information. Stagger your information and keep it interesting and varied.
β’Provide books for references and identification. eg birds, trees, invertebrate, reptile and mammal books.
β’Share your binoculars with guests who do not have their own pair.
β’Plan your drive in advance to optimise guests experience.
β’Utilise low range when driving off road. Warn your guests of branches and thorns, particularly at night. Drive with your guestβs priority in your mind.
β’Turn your radio off when you stop for refreshments or meals.
β’When tracking away from the vehicle, explain to your guests what you are doing and how long you expect to be away.. Show them the tracks.
β’If it is a hot day park them in the shade whilst youβre away.
