Today let's know more about the Giraffe centre;
It is the creation of African Fund for Endangered Wildlife(A.F E.W Kenya),a non profit organization.
It's main purpose is educating on Kenya's wildlife and environment and giving the opportunity to everyone to come into close contact with the giraffe.
It was founded by. Kenyan citizen of British descent in the year 1979.
Together with his wife they began the centre after discovering the sad plight of the Rothschild Giraffe.At the time the animal had lost their habitat in western Kenya with only 130 left in Soy Ranch.
They started by breeding two calves Daisy and Marion at their home which is where the centre remains up-to-date.
Currently there are over 300 Rothschild Giraffe and breeding well in various national parks.

Have you been to the BOMAS OF KENYA?If yes or no then you need to learn this about it;
It was started by the Government of Kenya in 1971 as wholly owned subsidiary of the Tourism Finance Corporate.
It is an entertainment and a living museum where there is showcasing and celebrations on various cultures and tribes in Kenya.It is located on the edge road off Langata road,10km from the centre of Nairobi city.
It consists of a recreated traditional village with homesteads showcasing and depicting some of the major tribes in Kenya.Each homestead in this cultural village was built using traditional specifications of myriad Kenyan tribes through architecture,crafts,music and dance.They serve to preserve Kenyan Culture.
