Nai Nami Tours is a Social Impact Project that offers you an inspirational "off-the-beaten path" experience of Nairobi Downtown guided by youth, who raised themselves in the streets. During a customized walking tour in Nairobi Downtown together with your personal guides, you will experience the "real"

Nairobi from their perspective. Exchange with them and learn from their street skills, which they gained during their daily struggles. Explore places according to your interests while getting captivated by their life stories and ghetto-energy.

His search for meaning and fulfilment in his work life brought him to Kenya, where he founded Nai Nami, a social enterprise that offers a unique storytelling tour in Nairobi to make people experience the city through the eyes of a street child.

Nai Nami is different

The common approach of organisations in slums is to help youth by focusing on their weaknesses. They put them back to school, educate and train them to make them fit into the formal sector. Nai Nami flips this model. We realized that the hustlers, ex-gangsters and school drop-outs acquired impressive skills during their time in the streets and therefore already possess the ability to create value.

Nai Nami develops new formal jobs for unemployed youth from slums, who dropped out of school and therefore do not have access to the formal job market. We develop innovative business models based on their street skills to allow them to create value and earn a regular income by applying their strengths.
