Lesson no 2 from the Maasai Mara

I sold a Maasai Mara Safari to a group. The selling tag was "The Migration". I told them the Migration must be on in July. And we went down to the Mara. Now God has a way of showing us He is the one in charge.
The Wildebeest stuck to the other side. And we are there waiting for them to cross.
And we had to leave the Mara. Happy to have a new lesson.
That the Migration is directed from a different authority. Not by Tour operators!!
Wildebeest migration 2018 ran late by a month.

Just back from the Maasai Mara. And picked up a few lessons.
Lesson 1
After spending a good part of the morning looking for a lion, we saw Zebras, in a large group, running.

And the guide says "let's try the direction the Zebras are coming from. There might be a lion". And sure enough, there was a family. Resting under the vast Mara sky. Un aware that any one was running away from them.

And I think in life we are either lions or zebras. We are either pursuing, or running. Sometimes we run even when no one is chasing. But feel constantly under siege.

Declare today freedom from the zebra mentality. Break free. Take up the spirit of a lion. Only he, in the vast Mara, enjoys sleep in the open (and he sleeps for long). Identify goals, and keep pursuing.
The world is slippery and treacherous. But it belongs to those who refuse to run, but who keep on pursuing.
