Maasai Market is a revolving crafts market in Nairobi. Vendors and artists display baskets, textiles, wooden spoons and bowls,sculpture and jewelry. The market began as the African Heritage design company's buying day where artists from all around the continent came to sell their items, and when they were waiting in line for their items to be assessed,they displayed their wares at the Globe roundabout. Karen Blixen Museum is located within the Karen District of Nairobi with breathtaking views of Ngong Hills. This Museum is a former house of Karen Blixen from Denmark who settled in Nairobi during colonial times to do Coffee Farming. She is the Author of the famous book Out of Africa; which was later on made into a movie featuring Meryl Streep and Robert Redford.
The Museum features a beautiful garden with indigenous trees,manicured lawns with a burst of Jasmine flowers in the air.
