WHY ME

On why me today we take a look at frustrations caused by external factors that only require those forces to look inside and do what we feel is necessary.

See there was this friend I had, an amazing soul, happy at what they did to make them happy, always getting their way. I was pulled into that force, a force of doing them a favour. I always wanted to please them. I believe at the start it gave me pleasure to see them happy, maybe the thought in my mind that their happiness was initiated by me gave me that fulfilment.

Then slowly I developed a longing for my friend to do the same for me. Look deep inside them and start doing the very things I did for him. I wanted them to move a chair for me to seat on, bring me a glass of what without asking. You know the very basic of my desires. Ask how my day was, what was troubling me, if I was okay, if I needed financial help. The sort I found myself doing for him. I could see him frown and I would quickly intervene with my questions.

Then the feeling grew, I started becoming angry at him without explaining. One time he got concerned and asked what was wrong, I expected him to know. I expected him to feel my pain. I expected him to look me in the eyes and know I just wanted him to ask me if I was angry. Then he said something profound, that he doesn't understand me.
WHAT? WHAT THE HELL? Was he serious? Like he completely does not understand all I do for his happiness?
So I decided to end that relationship. I mean why should i be with someone who expects me to tell them how I feel when they should be the ones noticing a change in my behavior, attitude, emotional state or financial melt down. Why must I tell? Is it not obvious to you when changes occur to me? Why do I notice yours? Are you calling me nosy?

Can someone please tell me if I am being too much, too demanding, or naïve. Must I use words every time to express myself to this person or are they just supposed to be observant? Those with friends that know what to say to them at the right time how do you feel? do you reciprocate to their feelings as well?

WHY ME

Are you going through a series of financial bad luck? Are you trying to wake up to a reality that hits only you and your surroundings of a financial blockade?

I have had the worst experience on finance this year. 2023 for me will go down as the year everything failed for me. I have even tried betting and all I end up winning are losses to my already dwindling little money flow I have.

In April of 2023, I hit a snag. My business collapsed and my client list dried up. My mind also collapsed leaving me with no new ideas of how I can make a coin. All new ventures I entered into only worsened the situation. I invested in new ways of making money but the only benefit i got is from a bad taste of experience on my side. I became bitter from the frustrations of not being paid.

I took on side hustles that I hoped will even help in paying for my rent or even school fees for my children but nothing. I took some money from people in the hope I will pay back but that has not happened leaving me with a trail of debts that have made it impossible for me to be seen in public. I have borrowed from my own family members but they have also ran dry.

Now I have arrears in school, my rent is in arrears, at the local shop am in huge arrears, at the local bar I cannot even be seen by the owner.

Its taken a tall on me heavily. How does one get out of this financial blockade? Can someone out there who has experienced this time help me on how to overcome it and regain my financial freedom? How did you get out from your debts to your financial freedom?
