Day itinerary
9:00am meeting point Bata opposite Geevanjee Gardens on your way to Lifestyle
9:30 depart to our destination
The tour begins with a visit to the elephant orphanage which is only opened for a short period each day. It’s a center for the rehabilitation and rearing of orphaned baby elephants. You will get more information on raising them and efforts being made to re-introduce them back to wilderness. The orphanage is very strict with time it allows visitors and opens 11am-12pm, when the baby elephants take their mud baths. The feeding time is truly interesting, with the baby elephants behaving just like babies, naughty, playing football and running around trying to catch the attention of everyone.
Then, the giraffe center. Where you will able to see the magnificent creatures and learn why they are endangered. It’s the perfect location to see giraffe eye-to-eye and feed them with specifically made hay-pellets.
After this you will have about an hour for lunch(to be provided)
We shall then head on to the only wildlife park bordering a city Nairobi National park through the main gate for 3hrs game drive. Your guide will be aiming to show you as much variety of animals as possible. If you’re lucky, you may spot the rhinos and lions getting ready for evening. At around 5.45pm will depart the park and brought back to the pickup point Bata opposite Geevanjee Gardens.
