Baby animals on safari!☺️

The joy of seeing playful cubs and curious calves is unmatched while on safari. Here nature’s balance hit us with mixed emotions as we came across the raw power of a fresh Wildebeest kill (see below)

The (SWT)🐘

—also known as Daphne Sheldrick’s or the Elephants Orphanage, is all about “Baby elephants!” Best known for protecting elephants, the operates the world’s most successful orphan elephant rescue and rehabilitation program.

𝟑 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐍𝐄𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐎 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖:

1. 𝑽𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑯𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔: SWT Nairobi Nursery’s public visiting hour is from 11am - 12noon every day. This tradition invites the public to learn about our conservation work and meet the orphans in our care.

2. 𝑬𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒚 𝒃𝒚 𝑨𝒅𝒗𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝑩𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑶𝒏𝒍𝒚: Book months in advance! We often organize priority waitlists in case of cancellations. Just a bit of luck!

3. 𝑨𝒅𝒐𝒑𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔: For $50 per year, you can adopt a baby elephant and follow your orphan’s progress (all digital). Adoption includes monthly Orphans’ Project updates and the latest Keepers’ Diaries.

The ‘Great Wildebeest Migration 2024’ is Here!🙌🏽

After two years, I just witnessed this epic event again, and it’s beyond incredible! You absolutely have to experience it for yourself!

P.s: The migration happens all year in a clockwise circle between Tanzania and Kenya, moving across the and into the Kenyan . This natural phenomenon typically kicks off between July and September, though the timing can shift due to climatic conditions.
