The joy of seeing playful cubs and curious calves is unmatched while on safari. Here nature’s balance hit us with mixed emotions as we came across the raw power of a fresh Wildebeest kill (see below)

How to Stay Safe on Safari! 😨🦁⚠️

1. 𝙆𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙑𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙇𝙤𝙬 — Just like when you’re in a library or sneaking snacks into a movie, keep the volume down! Loud noises, even whispers, can startle the wildlife. It’s best to observe quietly and blend in with the surroundings.

2. 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙮 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙖𝙛𝙖𝙧𝙞 𝙑𝙚𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙡𝙚 — Your guide is your best friend on safari—stick close to them! The vehicle is your safe zone, so don’t wander off, especially during picnic lunches. When in doubt, just remember: the lions may look cute, but they don’t need a cuddle!

3. 𝙉𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝘼𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙁𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘼𝙣𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙨 — No matter how adorable they look, resist the urge to share your sandwich with the wildlife. Safaris are about seeing animals in their natural habitat, not turning them into lunch buddies. They might approach for shade or a hunt, but remember—they’re wild, and we should keep it that way!
