When in Nairobi don't forget to visit the David Sheldrick elephant orphanage! A visit to the elephant orphanage is a great experience for both adults and children! At the orphanage you'll meet baby elephants who've been rescued by the David Sheldrick Trust. During feeding time you'll be able to interact with the baby elephants and hear about their rescue and the fantastic work the David Sheldrick Trust is doing in protecting, rescuing and rehabiltation of Kenya's wildlife.

You might have heard already, but Kenya has introduced eVisa! You can avoid the lines at the airport by applying for a visa online. It's recommended to apply 7 days in advance of your travel date, though approvals are usually granted within 2-3 days.

You can also still apply for your visa at the Kenyan Embassies in your home country or depending on your home country you can also apply upon arrival at the airport.
