🌿 Chasing Heights & Hidden Gems: Our Route to Nanyuki 🚙🏔️

Last weekend, we took the scenic (and adventurous!) route to Nanyuki via Meru, making a detour to Lake Ellis on Mount Kenya. At 3,500m ASL, the journey unfolded like a dream—through lush rainforests, towering bamboo canopies, and open moorlands, each turn revealing breathtaking scenery.

The final 2km ascent to the lake was a true test of skill and machine—a steep, rocky climb requiring a 4WD SUV and some solid off-road experience. But the reward? Crystal-clear reflections of the mountain peaks, crisp air, and absolute serenity.

With the sun shining and a deceivingly chilly breeze, we set up for breakfast by the lake, the perfect treat after 5 hours on the road. Three hours of soaking in the views later, we began our descent, heading to Nanyuki with full hearts and even fuller cameras! 📸✨
