NAME: Allan Liaram Meing'ati
DATE OF BIRTH: 12th February 1992, Rotian Village, Narok North Constituency in Narok County,
HISTORICAL BACKGROUND:
Kenya Colony to Joel Ole Meingati and Meliyio Meing'ati. In 1997, he started attending J.S Ole Naeku Primary School, where he completed his primary education in 2005 emerging the top candidate in the school.
He joined The Kabianga School in January 2006, and completed his secondary education in 2009.
In 2010, he joined Moi University (Annex cumpus) to study Law. In 2014, he graduated from Moi University with Bachelor of Laws Degree. In January 2015, he enrolled at the prestigious Kenya School of Law, (KSL) to pursue his postgraduate.
Immediately after his admission, he learnt of the arranged demonstration in Narok County questioning use of County resources by Gvn Tunai where he took the centre stage and participated in the drafting of the Petition and joined thousands of Narok residents in a peaceful demonstration. During this frackers, Allan Meingati was shot on his right leg fracturing both the tibia and fibula. On the same day, he was taken to Narok Referal Hospital but referred on the same date to Kenyatta National Hospital for specialised treatment where he was hospitalised for 10 months. In November 2015, the family learnt that the first Surgery was not successful. he was transferred to Kikuyu Hospital for another surgery taken by Dr Sang a renowned surgeon, Thanks God this was a success and he was released for recovery at his home in Rotian till mid 2016 where he went to continue his postgraduate in KSL and subsequently passed his bar examination and thus admitted as an advocate of High court of Kenya on 27th March 2018.
*POLITICAL CAREER & ACTIVISM:*
Allan has been known as a political and Human Right activist since his university life. He led an anti tribal revolution in Moi University where he led his fellow students in many protests fighting against issues that he felt needed changing both at the university level and at the national level pertaining University leadership. A movement that led to election of the Current speaker of Samburu his close friend Hon. Solomon Lempere as the Academic director despite Annex having a population of 7 Maa speaking students. During his University days, He took the centre stage in the Narasha demonstration and Irkuman evictions. He is know to be among the most prominent critics and activists against the TUNAI regime in Narok County. Alongside Martin Kamwaro agitating for proper use of County resources and agricultural bills within Narok County, among other issues of public interest.
*ACHIEVEMENTS*
Allan Meingati is the sole proprietor of Meingati & Company Advocates based in Narok town. A Law Firm with 9 employees. He has over 2000 active matters in court both Criminal and Civil matters, inclusive pro bono cases over land injustices. Notably, Allan has never lost a case in court since his admission to the Bar. He is known for his commitment and contribution to jurisprudence in his few years of practice.

Pro bono(free litigation) against conviction and sentence of a number of people all served 5 years and above in prison before he appealed their cases and freed them (Criminal section)
*CONSTITUTIONAL PETITIONS:*
*1. Maasai Mau Forest petition,* a case he took up with Martin Kamwaro, they won and court granted eviction Orders that were enforced by Natembeya. He's currently pursuing a petition to have all title deeds held by evictees to be cancelled. 90% to completion.
*2. Narok Municipality Charter* amendments of some unfavourable clauses like
a. Land rates imposed to all land owners within the perimeter of the municipality boundaries.
b. A clause that allows the Governor to do amendments of the municipality charter without involving members of the executive, legislative and the public.
3. Stood against the oppression of the illiterate locals by tourism investors in the Maasai Mara conservancies.
4. Currently pursuing a Petition on behalf of Maasai Stock Traders to reclaim the emotive Kibiko holding ground in Ngong, a suit that is 80% to determination standing at 90% chances of success.
4.Spearheaded the registration of a number of local managed wildlife conservancies in the Maasai Mara.

Allan has since sponsored a number of students in his few years of practice. Curently paying school fees for 12 students in high school. One is a P1 teacher. He has sponsored a number of tournaments and the Sponsor of a renown narok county team (HOMEBOYS FC) playing at regional level, the team currently this season at the edge of promotion to Division II. He was recently seen participating in road construction in melili ward and currently working on a classroom construction at Oloropi.
