Olumara Camp brings about comfort and convenience in a unique luxurious way to all safari lovers. The camp comprises just 10 tents and 1 family tent thus enhancing personalized services and bringing the home away from home feeling. This exclusive camp derives its name from the leopard “olowuaru” as the surroundings are likely leopard spots. The camps size and set up is in direct consideration and

desire to preserve the surroundings and make a contribution to reduce the impact of tourists on the environment. The camp is run by a generator in the evening which would start at around 18.30hrs – 17.00hrs depending with a long and short day light, and would go off at 23.00hrs. Once the generator goes off, the inverter takes over the path lights the whole night and one light in front of every tent verandah. We have touches in every tent and emergency small lights fitted in every room. Olumara is hidden in the shadow of indigenous trees. The camp recreates the atmosphere of the natural environment. Each room is furnished to a complete standard. The beds have been hand carved from specially selected wood from fallen trees. The interior of each tent also includes a hot and cold Shower, flush toilet, dressing area and a mirror. Each tent has a large, extended Balcony for relaxation, reading, and game viewing or even holding private events e.g. Each guest experiences personalized service and attention and is considered a special guest by our camp manager and the whole Olumara team of staff, who all have a wealth of experience of the African savannah. During the day, meals can be served outdoors amongst the trees. For breakfast there are fresh fruits, cereals and hot-baked breads together with a full, cooked breakfast prepared while you watch. For lunch we have plate service that will satisfy the hungriest appetites. In the evening guests can enjoy plate served dinners in our dining or by the bushes under the African sky. These are truly unforgettable experiences. We also cater for full day game drives lunchboxes and coffee or tea while in the bush.
