Kisumu is one of the three cities of Kenya. It was formerly known as Port Florence but reverted its name to Kisumu, which literally means barter trade “sumo” among the luo community who are the dominant population in the region. Initially, Amboseli National Park was referred as Maasai Amboseli Game Reserve. It is one of the best wildlife viewing park with over 400 bird species and provides the best view of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
