Paris shined from beginning to end
Paris Big upsets, failures and joyful moments
Though there were a couple of minor hiccups along the way,
as there are at any Olympic, Paris performed well .
The fear of Security threats were handled by invisible, multi-national intelligence .
The highly visible police presence on the streets gave people assurance of safety The In every event, stands were packed everywhere even in the rivers , roads where action took place
Sports fans who like to watch live sports as they happen could do so in so many channels. Weather did not disappoint, considering other parts of the world were under extreme heat
Personally, I was impressed by Simone Biles in gymnastics 3 gold medals and silver after what she has gone through , Kipyegon breaking her own Tokyo Olympic record after winning silver in 5,000 The Swede Duplantis dominance in pole vault and above all Hassan of the Netherlands breaking the Olympic record in Marathon after taking part in 5,000 and 10,000 where she won bronze respectively = a total of 57KM that is HUGE
Since only the first 3 get medals there were disappointment for those who had set their bar high especially those who came to defend their titles but that is how it is in every competition . sometimes form is gone /injuries

A NEW Star is born i.e the Tebogo of Botswana beating the favourite americans for 200M to win gold earning his country its first ever medal in olympic history and went on to win 4x400 relay second place

Kenya has to go home with their heads high achieving the 20th position in total medals count , considering there are so many countries who left with ZERO medals.
But we cannot belittle their efforts but congratulate them for Qualifying to participate for doing so is a win and only 3 get medals hence

LOS ANGELES in 2028 will be a new begin new opportunity for every participant. LA here we come
