Wait for it. 🤭
Infant Ikirango is having a blast hanging from a piece of bamboo. But wait, there’s more: watch her practice a one-handed chest beat. 🤣
Playing is a lot of fun for gorilla infants, but might be even more fun to watch! 😍

On a recent visit to Mana Pools we watched in total awe as Boswell, a much-loved elephant bull in Mana, stood to his hind legs, and broke a massive branch from a Winter Thorn tree.
To see this in real life is simply incredible, something that blows you away and makes safari & all the travel involved so totally worth it!

We captured the most incredible moment today as a tiny elephant was born right in front of the lodge. What a moment absolutely magical @jamalamadikwesafari @jamalasafari .

Sometimes, the best way to reconnect is by disconnecting 🌅✨
At Manda Bay, escape the noise and immerse yourself in a world where the ocean is your soundtrack, and the Wi-Fi is optional. Whether it’s quality time with loved ones or simply rediscovering your own rhythm, this is the place to find it.
Unplug, unwind, and let nature do the rest.

And more of Kulete’s family today!! The little ones were seen playing around in the evening while Kulete with a full belly was resting. They’re all doing well in OMC for the time 🤍

Floating over the Serengeti in a hot air balloon, provides one of the most unique perspectives of this incredible wilderness.
Not only do you get an idea of the scale of this ecosystem, but have the opportunity of witnessing some incredible wildlife from above.
On this trip we witnessed many different species, including a clan of hyena & a pride of lions fighting over a zebra kill. As the balloon is incredibly quiet for the most part you are also able to soak up the sounds of the bush. A truly unbelievable experience!

Lion King Morning
It’s always magical to see lions in the morning, bathed in golden backlight. The sight of their warm breath in the cool air, coupled with the power of their roar, often gives me goosebumps.

One of the many tricks up the Pangolins scaly sleeve.
When moving on loose or shifting terrain like sand, Pangolins use their strong, muscular tails to help them gain traction and push themselves forward.
This particular Pangolin was making his way back into the bush after we confiscated him from traffickers.

What could be better than being on horseback in the wild once the much-awaited rains finally arrive?
We wish you could be here with us – to smell the earthy scent of the rain-soaked ground, to hear the gentle patter of raindrops, and to feel the calm that blankets the entire landscape. ✨🤎

We spotted the lions coming for a drink! We jumped in the cars to watch them drink from the camp’s waterhole, only to find the roles reversed. The lions took the opportunity to check out the lodge itself, and left us in the cars totally amazed!
We watched for 20 minutes as the lions played with cushions, chewed up floor mats, checked out camera bags & more. How incredible!
Captured on my @tandaafrika safari experience here at Kanga Camp @africanbushcamps in Mana Pools.

Maasai Naturalist, Patrick, has a knack for calling birds as if by magic. If you’re after the shy narina trogon or a tropical boubou, he’s your guy. Just be careful not to mimic an alarm or mating call.
