Safaris are full of surprises (mostly animal sightings), however this was a lovely surprise game we didn't expect to see, or participate in.
We were having lunch in Amboseli National Park on Lookout Hill, when some Ugandans were having a game with a bottle. Volunteers from Umoja Orphanage Kenya joined in for the game, and volunteer Peter showed us all how it's done!

Turn up the volume..
There is nothing quite like the roar of a lion calling his lionesses. 🦁
He was also letting the people in the safari bus know he was royality personified. His female harem was about 1.5km metres behind the vehicle you see resting. Surprise Tours & Safaris driver and tour guide, knew where to find them in their usual resting place in the hot afternoon, so went and waited for him to join them. Sure enough, he made his way to his girls.
