Usually, May 9th is celebrated with a military parade in Bishkek, and, more importantly, the "Immortal Walk" in all cities and villages of the country. Kyrgyz take to the streets with photos of their family members who participated in the war.

Today, we're celebrating the 27th anniversary of the Kyrgyz Constitution! It was adopted on May 5th 1993 🇰🇬
The Kyrgyz flag was adopted a little earlier, on March 3d 1992. It represents a sun, symbol of peace and prosperity, the 40 Kyrgyz tribes, and the tunduk (central part of the yurt).
