We care about the and there are several reasons why we should care about the .
An ecosystem is a community or group of living organisms that live and interact with each other in a specific environment. For example, forests are ecosystems made up of living things
such as trees, plants, animals, insects, and microorganisms that constantly interact with each other and that are influenced by other physical (sun, temperature) or chemical (oxygen or
nutrients)) components.
There is a link between the ecosystem and human activities. Like all other living things, humans depend on natural ecosystem services for their survival. We need it to get the food we eat, the water we drink, and to turn raw materials into our daily foods. Therefore, in order to preserve the conditions of our life, it is very important to preserve natural ecosystems.
We know that human activity has an impact on ecosystem and this impact is significantly a negative one. Humankind has been demanding for food, water, food, timber, and other materials like crazy. And all these demands have been highly contributing to deforestation (to grow more crops), the loss of natural pollination (bees are disappearing), water pollution (from animal excreta and pesticides to plastic), soil exploitation (due to intensive agriculture),over-fishing and huge biodiversity loss.
How to protect our ecosystem?
Most of the damage to the environment is caused by consumption: what we consume, how much we consume, and how often. We can take the following steps to slow the process of ecosystem degradation.
 Consume less
 Compost
 Choose reusable over single-use
 Upcycle more
 Recycle properly
 Shop secondhand
 Buy local
 Use fewer chemicals
 Walk, bike or carpool
 Use less water
 Use your purchasing power for
good
 Conserve electricity

VERY URGENT!!! A passing friend picked up yesterday Sunday evening in a street in the center of Bichkek this little dog apparently abandoned, because very nice and apparently trained, probably a border collie breed. She leaves again on Wednesday and desperately wants to find her a home. If you are interested in adopting this puppy, please contact me via private message (messenger).

TRES URGENT !!!

Mrs. Brigitte Auloy, Manager of International Projects for the Fondation Brigitte Bardot (BBF) rescued these donkeys close to Bishkek city. In particular, the anon risked being run over by cars when the donkeys were very close to the road. AFKE transported them to the EcoParc where they now live peacefully.
Lets be kind toward all animals.

Start your compost pile on bare earth.
Composting means breaking down organic material. In practice, a mixture of various
decaying organic matter, such as dead leaves or manure, used to fertilize the soil. Compost
works as a food source for soil, making it more fertile and efficient, and supports a complex
ecosystem which is supported by healthy soil. Here are some more environmental and social
benefits of composting:
● Protect plant against disease
● Helps revive and filter local water
● Reduces landfills
● Creates healthier food
● Builds stronger food systems
In addition, composting offers some economic benefits as well: food waste becomes a valuable resource, lowers production costs for farmers, and reduces the cost of food at home.
Thus, it is important to learn more about the organic fertilizer and use composting method to boost your garden’s harvest.
We are building boxes to start composting in the EcoPark in order to establish a healthy ecosystem around us.

Kyrgyz

Insects may seem intimidating to some people, but we need to be aware of the benefits of insects in ecology and environment. There are some beneficial insects such as ladybirds, bees, spiders and woodlice which ecologically balance environment. Some of insects are part of our food supply and help to recycle organic matter back into the soil. We can encourage the presence of these friendly insects in the garden by building an Insect house.
Insect Hotels have a diverse structure made from natural or recycled materials that imitate natural habitat of these insects. Insect houses come in different shapes and sizes, with different types of elements to suit the needs of specific insect species. There are some reasons to why to invite these insects into the garden.
Increasing insect diversity in the area helps to naturally restart important ecosystems such as soil formation, recycling nutrients and pollination.
This insect house was made in the EcoPark Bishkek in order to offer beneficial insects a safe environment to live in this urbanized world.
