Kyz-kuumai - (in translation from Kyrgyz -girl chasing) is one of the most ancient, interesting and cheerful Kyrgyz games played during the wedding ceremony or big holidays, bringing joy to all the guests.A game is usually conducted as follows. A young man on horseback waits at a starting line. A young woman, also mounted, starts her horse galloping from a given distance behind the young man. When the young woman passes the young man, he may start his horse galloping. The two race towards a finish line some distance ahead. If the young man is able to catch up to the young woman before they reach the finish line, he may reach out to her and steal a kiss, which constitutes victory. However, if the young man has not caught up to the young woman by the time they reach the finish line, the young woman turns around and chases the young man back to the starting line. If she is in range of the young man, she may use her whip to beat him, which signifies a victory for her.🔷🔷🔷🔷🔷🔷🔷🔷🔷🔷🔷🔷🔷🔷🔷🔷🌎Your Kyrgyz Travel Friends - Kyrgyzfriends📞WhatsApp +996(700)202-050🌐Website: www.kyrgyzfriends.com🔷🔷🔷🔷🔷🔷🔷🔷🔷🔷🔷🔷🔷🔷🔷🔷. #culture #nomadlife #nomadgames #horseriding #horsegame #landscape #kyrgyzstan🇰🇬

Saddle up for a wild ride with Kok Boru, a thrilling game that’s more than just a game! This traditional sport brings together players, teams, and even the public, all mounted on brave stallions, to try and score points by maneuvering a goat’s carcass (or a mold for the animal lovers out there) into the opponent’s goal. But it’s not just about the game: Kok Boru is a deep-rooted cultural expression that unites communities and promotes teamwork, responsibility, and respect. The most experienced players serve as referees, while the wise ‘Kalystar’ elders ensure fairness. This historic tradition is passed down naturally through demos, festivals, and social events, and the community is actively involved in preserving the knowledge and skills of this unique sport. The National Kok-Boru Federation, established in 1998, plays a pivotal role in promoting and safeguarding this thrilling element through a range of activities. You can watch demonstration of kok boru on a tour with your Kyrgyzfriends.🙌🏻

📍Kyzyl-Tuu Village
📌 Kyzyl-Tuu Village is located on the southern coast of Lake Issyk-Kul about 230km away from Bishkek.
This village is attractive to tourists interested in Kyrgyz nomadic culture. It is a village called the hometown of Yurta, a mobile house for Kyrgyzstan nomads, and is famous not only in Kyrgyzstan but also in the world.
The village has a population of about 1,800 and most of its residents are engaged in producing Yurta, a traditional Kyrgyz house. Therefore, visitors can experience everything from making Yurta parts to installing them while staying in the village.
📌 Kiyiz Duino, a festival that shows the traditions and customs of the Kyrgyz people, is held every year and it is so popular among tourists that thousands of people participate.
📌 The hunting experience with eagles and Taigan dog, the representative breed of Kyrgyzstan, which we only saw in the video, will be a life experience that others cannot easily experience.
📍There is Tuz-Kol which called a Dead Lake compared to the Dead Sea of Israel is not far from the village. The water from the Lake Issyk-Kul flows into the Tuz-Kol but there is no water path to the outside, so the salt of the lake water is maintained at nearly 70%. Why don't you experience the mysterious experience of "Lying in the Water and Reading a Book" you've only seen in pictures?

Kyzyl Beyit cultural village
Journey to the past in time
To get to Kyzyl Beyit village you have to park your car at the river and cross the Naryn River. After crossing the river and riding a donkey for about 7 km you get to the village Kyzyl Beyit, the so-called Forgotten Village.
This town was quite prosperous hundreds of years ago, when there was no such transport as cars, and the main means of transportation were horses and donkeys. However, after the connection between the mainland and the village weakened, the village became smaller and gradually disappeared.
Because there is little flat land, most houses are located on hills, and people produce milk or butter by raising goats and cows. For those who want to live in a quiet place, there is no better place than the hustle and bustle of the city, if they can tolerate some inconvenience.
There is no electricity in the village yet, so people usually use solar power to turn on lights, watch TV and charge cell phones. In today's society it would be very uncomfortable to spend the night due to the lack of electricity, but why don't you forget about the hustle and bustle of the city and feel at one with nature under the starlight for the day?
