Our team had successfully conducted the 2nd in 3Rpromar project on "Development of solid waste management plan" It was fruitful workshop from strong effort of organizing by our team and the whole team of 3rpromar and municipal of Kratie.

We hope this will help the small town of Kratie moving forward to reduce the amount of plastic waste leaking into the river😊.

Compared to Cambodia’s total number of Asian elephants (400-600 individuals), the total number of Asian elephants in the Prey Lang Extended Landscape is a good number!

USAID Greening Prey Lang supports Fauna and Flora International (FFI) to conduct a DNA study of Asian elephants with technical support from the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS) in Chhaeb, Preah Roka and Prey Lang wildlife sanctuaries which are the protected areas in the Prey Lang Extended Landscape. The study estimates a total number of 51 Asian elephants in the landscape in which 21 individuals are in Chhaeb and Preah Roka wildlife sanctuaries and 30 individuals are in Prey Lang wildlife sanctuary.
