Green Season Gains Momentum! 🌱

Cambodia's tourism industry is heating up! July's visitor numbers soared by an impressive 16.4% compared to last year, proving that the green season is no match for our country's allure.

With a total of 62,424 arrivals, we welcomed a significant increase of around 13,000 tourists compared to June. It's fantastic to see this continued growth!

While the tourism landscape is diversifying, Chinese visitors remain a key market, making up 9.4% of all arrivals.

The Green Season in Cambodia: Numbers Show Consistency

The Cambodia Hotel Association is keeping a close eye on interesting data from Angkor Enterprise!

Visitor Numbers Steady: June saw a similar number of visitors compared to May, with roughly 50,000 tourists in each month. This is a positive sign considering the usual decrease during Cambodia's green season.

Shifting Demographics: Tourist demographics showed some interesting changes in June. While American visitors remained steady at around 12.2% of the total, there was a shift from the previous month where Chinese tourists held the top spot.

The CHA remains dedicated to collaborating with its members to provide an exceptional experience for all foreign tourists visiting Cambodia, regardless of nationality. We are confident that the upcoming months will see a continued rise in tourism.

The Slow Season in Cambodia: Numbers Tell the Story

The Cambodia Hotel Association is seeing some intriguing data from Angkor Enterprise!

Revenue Up! Angkor Enterprise reports a strong 17.8% increase in revenue for May 2024 compared to May 2023.

Visitor Dip: However, visitor numbers show a slight decrease. There were 50,879 visitors to Angkor Wat in May, 37,000 fewer than April.

Chinese Boost! πŸ‡¨πŸ‡³ On a positive note, 11.1% of visitors to Cambodia in May were Chinese. This is a great sign for tourism diversification!

The CHA is committed to working with our members to ensure a top-notch experience for all 50,000+ foreign tourists who purchased Angkor Passes in May, regardless of nationality. We look forward to welcoming even more visitors in the coming months.
