8am, your tour guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel. After a short briefing we will board our jeep and travel into the countryside seeing all the sights it has to offer. We visit Chreav Village where we will meet local people living simple lives in their traditional Khmer houses. We will see something of their farming methods, farm animals, rice fields and lotus ponds with water birds giving nice photo opportunities. Next we visit the ancient Atvear Wat Buddhist temple where your guide will tell you some of the stories depicted in paintings and statues there. We should be able to greet the monks and it is possible to get a blessing from the head monk if you wish. We drive to Phnom Krom Hill where we will have a very nice view of Tonle Sap Lake, the floating villages and the extensive rice fields surrounding it before driving down by the lake and viewing the stilt houses out in the lake. We will take a slightly different route back to Siem Reap where you will be dropped back to your hotel. INCLUDED

�ANGKOR WAT and TEMPLE TOUR

· Visit Angkor Wat. After a short briefing we will board our jeep to visit 12th century Ta Phrom temple. Embraced by enormous jungle roots, you may recognize it from the blockbuster Tomb Raider movies. Then we drive to the 12th century Ta Nei Temple. This is partly hidden by jungle and is less visited by tourists
After that we drive to Angkor Thom city, which is the last capital city of the Khmer empire entered by driving through Victory gate. We visit the Elephant Terrace & the terrace of L***r King, Royal Enclosure, Phimean Akas, Baphuon and the very impressive Bayon temple. Relax and have lunch, in the afternoon we visit the 11th century Angkor Wat. It is a world heritage listed ancient temple complex and is the largest religious site in the world. We will drop you back to your hotel at the finish of the tour
