1- Monk Blessing Ceremony
Bring candles and incense sticks to the pagoda and participate in a private good luck blessing ceremony, performed by local monks that reside at the temple. Sit on the mat while the monks chant blessings and sprinkle holy water on you – a traditional way which is believed pass on the good luck of the gods. This will protect you from any evil spirits or accidents. Before you continue on your journey, you will receive a small keepsake from the monks to remind you of this special moment.
2- Lunch at local house
An incredible opportunity to get into the real Cambodian daily life. You will taste local food, cooked as they do in the villages. Lunch will be provided in a village, far from any tourists. By taking part, you will also be supporting a local family, bringing benefit for the whole community.
3- Sunset at Phnom Krom with soft drink
Although most tourists admire the sunset from overcrowded temples, Angkor Luxury Trave gives you the chance to view the sunset from a private spot in the foot of Phnom Krom mountain. Either a soft drink or a local beer will be provided while you enjoy in a nice setup prepared by a local family looking at locals’ daily activities.
4- Early visit to Ta Prohm Temple
This is a unique activity that most tourist are unable to experience. An early visit to world famous Ta Prohm temple will allow you to discover this amazing place on your own, as it was some years ago. Get lost in the jungle mist and enjoy the sound of the birds.
5- Angkor National Museum with Archeologist
It is a good idea to visit the Angkor National Museum with a Khmer archeologist before heading the temples. You will be able to listen to the expert’s briefing history, admiring the artifacts from different sites in Cambodia. After this visit, you will get into the real history of the temples.
6- Water Pump Donation
Cambodia is a developing country where the irrigation system is still a problem due to the local families’ low incomes. But Angkor Luxury Trave brings you the opportunity to add your two cents by helping them out building a water pump. After the donation, you will be able to see in person how a family benefits from your help.
7- Private Cooking Class
If you don’t feel completely satisfied tasting Khmer food in a restaurant, why not join a private cooking class with a professional chef? You will first visit the local market to buy all ingredients: vegetable, meat… depending on what you want to cook. You will then enjoy a cooking lesson in a small hotel located in the rural area with our expert chef.
8- Lunch box at temple
With so many temple, a sightseeing tour is usually an exhausting activity. This optional activity gives you the chance to rest during the visit. Our guide will take you a private lunch box to a small temple, to get the meaning of “slow life” in Cambodia and avoiding a transfer back to Siem Reap that means losing time.
9- Helicopter ride
Flying over the temples, Tonle Sap lake and other highlights is a unique opportunity for those wanting to see everything like a bird. During a short flight (variable duration), you will see Cambodia from a new perspective you will never forget.
10- Horse ride
A different way to experience Cambodian lifestyle. You will ride a horse through scenic rice fields, villages, stilt houses and tourist-free temples. It is a good chance to see what other tourist can’t see, as horses get places unreachable for cars, vans and guided tours.
11- Quad Bike Ride

There are many different tours to discover the surrounding area of Siem Reap, passing by rice fields and villages. A longer tour can take place in a choice of more virgin locations.
