ឆ្នេរឯករាជ្យ Independence Beach

The beach is wider and more tourists. At the other end is the beach's only hotel, Sea Breeze. Grass umbrellas and drink vendors now line the beach, but it is still much less frequented than other beaches. The road up to the old Independence Hotel is often frequented by a small troop of Rhesus monkeys, local people like to stop and feed them.

Sihanoukville, Cambodia: February 23, 2022

The Bahamas-based cruise ship Norwegian Spirit docked at Sihanoukville International Port after missing out on a cruise ship due to the COVID-19 crisis. Officials at the Sihanoukville International Port said that the docking of the cruise ship was not carrying tourists, it was a dock to wait for the crew and staff of the ship in some countries
Retired from the COVID-19 crisis and returned to work on a humanitarian mediation from the Royal Government of Cambodia, headed by Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, for international humanitarian work.

According to the same official, on the cruise ship that docked at Sihanoukville International Port this morning, February 23, 2022, there were 171 crew members (22 females). There are 485 crew members (89 females) from the countries that will pass through Cambodia to work on this cruise ship.

Please note that this cruise ship is 269 m long, 36 m wide and 8.2 m deep, and the stop at Sihanoukville International Port waiting to receive its crew and staff may take three or four days. Before leaving, return.

This is the pagoda where many residents of Sihanoukville practice Buddhism. Here you may see monks chanting and young monks learning Pali, the sacred language of the Buddhist scriptures. Most of the pagodas in town are brightly painted and decorated with deities represented by hooded snakes, particularly king cobras. They are called nagas. a Sanskrit word for snake. Wat krom is located approximately 3 kilometers (2 miles) south of the cruise pier.

Prek Treng Beach

Another distant beach, Prek Treng is a long, wide crescent of brilliant white sand a few kilometers north of town, offering comparatively warm shallow waters. The beach is in good shape, groomed and landscaped, but is usually all but deserted. Sometimes a couple of food shacks stand open at the rear. To get there follow Hun Sen Beach Drive noth a few kilometers past the port area.

Golden Lion Roundabout

Koh Rong Island is one of the most gorgeous and loveliest islands in Cambodia Bay, which is located about 25 kilometers of the coast in Sihanoukville province. Koh Rong Island, with its white sandy beaches and turquoise water, is a dreamy tropical paradise rarely seen on earth that has been called the "Star of the Island" due to its natural diversities. On its southwestern side, the beach stretches for nearly five kilometers of virgin white sand, fringed with palm trees and dazzling turquoise water. The island's southernmost cove hosts a beach locally called "Long Set Beach," after a farmer who lives there when growing coconuts, mangoes, and cashews. Snorkelers can see schools of colorful rabbit fish, sergeant fish, and parrot fish.

There are seven bays on the island which are enough to keep even the most active visitors busy with diving, snorkeling, mountain biking, trekking, kayaking, and motorbike trekking, as well as plenty of sand, sun, and sea for those with more relaxed tastes. With the increased number of bungalows built, tourists can truly enjoy living in harmony with nature.

Waterfall KbalChhay

Cool off with a dip at the Kbal Chhay waterfall in Sihanoukville, which is situated on the PrekTuk Sap River, about 40 minutes away from Sihanoukville.
To reach the site from Sihanoukville, take National Road 4 toward Phnom Penh. About 7 kilometers outside of town, there is a sign announcing the site (at mile marker 217). Turn left and go 9 kilometers along the trail. The water at KbalChhay comes from many sources along the mountain range, although only three of these sources are visible.

The waterfall, which is 14 meters high, is at the point where those three sources join. The KbalChhay Waterfalls are actually a collection of 3 meter to 5 meter high waterfalls. This tourist attraction, with its amazing natural beauty, is not to be missed when you stay in Sihanoukville.
