The Ministry of Tourism and the St. Kitts Tourism Authority, express our deepest condolences on the passing of Delbert Samuel and Canitia Pascal. We are deeply saddened to learn of their passing and our hearts go out to their family, friends and loved ones.

Delbert Samuel affectionately known as 'The Fruits Man' was a cherished member of the SCASPA sports club and the tourism family as a taxi operator. His contribution to the development of the sector is appreciated and will be missed. As a taxi driver, Mr. Samuel played a vital role in creating positive first impressions for our visitors.

Canitia Pascal served the destination for over 10 years as an aloe rub vendor. The production and sale of such a product, rooted in our local traditions and natural resources, is a wonderful way to share a part of St. Kitts' unique character with visitors. Through Ms. Pascal's interaction with many tourists, she offered them a taste of our island's culture and the soothing properties of our aloe plants.

Together, they both played a significant role in shaping the visitor experience in St. Kitts. Their dedication to our tourism industry helped ensure visitors left our shores with cherished memories and a desire to return.

We understand that words cannot ease the pain of loss felt by their loved ones. However, we want you to know that their contributions to our destination were deeply valued.

The Ministry of Tourism and the St. Kitts Tourism Authority stand with you during this difficult time.

With deepest sympathy,

The Ministry of Tourism and the St. Kitts Tourism Authority
