Good evening Wolfpack! Great work today on the line maintaining your equipment! PMCS skills were on full display with Team Leaders supervising and sharing their knowledge.

Todays focus was also on COTS equipment, tents, SKOs, and generators. WP6 had the pleasure of personally teaching Soldiers how to properly maintain and use Chainsaws using the crawl walk method along with 3/643’s SSG DelSecco. WP6 also explained how their use could be vital in assured mobility operations to clear trees, create bridges from timber, or counter mobility.

The Army buys alot of great COTS equipment and it’s associated PPE. Be sure to take care of it using the manufacturer manuals to ensure mission readiness and safe use!

Wolfpack getting in Warrior Standard! It was a full day for sure as you all killed it conducting a no-notice EDRE with roll out and construction missions! We got some blade time and hammer time today! Not only did you prove your ability to deploy to locations on an expedited time frame while also drawing weapons, but you did it safely with additional training as well!

Readiness isn’t just a swag statistic on paper, it’s something you have to practice to be great at! And Wolfpack Soldiers and Leaders are always ready!

Good afternoon Wolfpack! If you’re looking for a fun adventure for friends and Family to travel to that’s close, check out the Asan Ecological Insectarium Museum.

Perfect for a rainy day activity that’s fun, this site is a pleasant 20 minute ride from post and runs a family of 4 about 10,000 won. This is a nice activity that can take about 1-2 hours, and culminates with a 120 meter high observatory.

They also have a cafeteria so your little ones don’t try to over run you with hunger.

This is a nice adventure for the family that helps them understand and appreciate the world around and below them!

Good evening Wolfpack! Ensure you are enjoying the long weekend responsibly!

Congrats to SGT Jung and PFC Barker for receiving AAMs from JC6 and JC7 after winning the Jungle Cat of the Month Honors for December while representing the Wolfpack. PFC Johnson also recieved Wolf of the week honor after being recommended by his leadership. Great work all!

With the maintenance focus week, SFC Wright also instructed the second Alpha Wolf Academy class focused on maintenance systems and how to properly PMCS vehicles. This class was taught to all available Soldiers serving in team leader roles to ensure they understood their roles in supervising their Soldiers. All this will ensure we are preparing our young leaders for challenges they will or are currently facing.

Also great to see some photos of the Wolfpack from this past year made into the 2ID calendar. Great work all!

We wanted to suggest visiting Anseong Farmland. There is a petting zoo, horse back riding, and more for about 29,000 won for a family of 4. Get out and enjoy your local area all!

Good afternoon Wolfpack! It was great to see you all and close the week out with some readiness tasks.

Leaders executed squad talks to stave off harmful behaviors after PT and then conducted room inspections to ensure life-health standards are met for all our Soldiers.

We also got to recognize some Soldiers for their positive impact, which included SSG Iman for winning Wolf of the Week. We also recognized PVT Hart for his contribution in training Wolfpack Soldiers and Allies on the PSS-14 to build our lethality.

2/643 also deployed an earth leveling/finishing team to help ensure 12’ tall, 6 ton T-walls were properly installed, meeting the manufacturer’s requirements. These walls will be essential to protecting key equipment and the operators.

Good evening Wolfpack! It was great seeing everyone after the holiday break, now we get back to it!

As part of todays focus, LT DiPrampero, CPL Hanley, and PFC Fadaghi executed a MNT OPD for the Os in the BN. Their focus was on the 5 yard 966H scoop loader. They ensured those present had a general understanding of the equipment’s capabilities, effect on operations here in Korea, limitations, winter operations, and specific areas of emphasis on the PMCS. Great work team!

Ensure you too are carrying your pillar and holding the roof of readiness over our heads!
