Jumunjin Port, one of the main fishing ports on the east coast, is home to over 350 fishing boats. The East Sea, where the warm and cold waters meet, is excellent for catching many different types of fish including lance fish, pollack, herring, and anchovy, as well as squid. Fish caught in the area is often served fresh or cooked at nearby seafood restaurants.

Jumunjin Fish Market was founded in 1936 and is situated in Gangneung next to Jumunjin Port, home to a large fleet of squid boats. It is the largest seafood market on the east coast and includes a dried seafood market and a sashimi center. The market is a favorite among both Koreans and international visitors.

Market specialties include a variety of fresh seafood caught on the east coast such as squid, mackerel, pollacks, pikes, and crabs. At the market, visitors can purchase these items (and a number of dried seafood products) at inexpensive prices, as well as get a taste of fresh, delicious sashimi.

Do you know where is the southernmost part of Korea ?🗺 It’s Marado Island near Jeju Island ! 🏝 It takes 30 minutes by boat from Jeju Island, You can look around all of the Island in half a day by walk🚶‍♀️

Marado Island is designated as Natural Monument No. 423. There are some small pretty buildings or sculptures such as octagonal pavilion, branch school, church and lighthouse in the Island,🏘 you can see them with beautiful sea view.⛵ It would be nice to walk slowly & relax your mind 😌

After looking around there, you can have black-bean-sauce noodles 🥣 with fresh seafood 🦑🦐 which is most famous food in the island. If you go to the Jeju Island, try to visit there ! 😁

Udo, (also called U-island, since do means island) is located on the northeast of Seongsan-ri, 3.5 kilometres (2.2 miles) off the coast of Jeju, South Korea. This is the largest of the islands included in Jeju City. Udo, literally "Cow Island" in Hanja, has this name because it looks like a cow lying down. The whole of Udo is a lava plateau and a fertile flatland where major agricultural products such as sweet potatoes, garlic, and peanuts are produced. There is a parasitic cone, called soeui meori oreum in native Korean or udubong in Hanja (both mean "Cow's Head Peak"), in the southeast.

Udo is one of the most visited spots in Jeju Island. About a million people visit Udo every year. Thanks to the scenery, it became the location for a few Korean films. Especially, Seobinbaeksa located on the west-coast of Udo Island was created by Rhodolith, which is the only beach created by this in Korea. Udo can be reached by multiple ferries which run from morning 8:00am till 6pm. There are many activities and car rental services on Udo Island.

The eight kinds of scenery of Udo, called Udopalkyeong,refer to the following: 'day and night', 'sky and ground','front and back', and 'east and west', which are the typical kinds of scenery found on Udo.

❤️ Naengmyeon or Raengmyŏn is a noodle dish of Northern Korean origin that consists of long and thin handmade noodles made from flour and starch of various ingredients, including buckwheat, potatoes, sweet potatoes, arrowroot starch (darker color and chewier than buckwheat noodles), and kudzu. 💡 Buckwheat predominates (despite the name, it is not a wheat but rather is more closely related to sorrel). Other varieties of naengmyeon are made from ingredients such as seaweed and green tea. 🥄

💫 In modern times, the mul naengmyeon variant is commonly associated with and popularly consumed during the summer, however, it was historically a dish enjoyed during winter. 👍

👏 The two main varieties of naengmyeon are mul naengmyeon and bibim naengmyeon. The former is served as a cold noodle soup made from beef, chicken or dongchimi broth. 😍 The latter is served with a spicy dressing made primarily from gochujang (red chili paste) and eaten mixed. In the case of bibim naengmyeon, a bowl of broth used in mul naengmyeon or plain broth from the boiled noodles itself are often served on the side. 🍜 This broth can be served hot or cold depending on the restaurant and type of broth. Boiled eggs and sliced cucumbers are often added as a garnish. 💯

😍 Factory of Contemporary Arts in Palbok, a.k.a. ‘Palbok Art Factory’, used to be a cassette tape factory during the 1980s. The site had been abandoned for a while.❤️ However, the factory is reborn as a cultural attraction in 2016, thanks to city regeneration project by the Jeonju City. Today, I’ll introduce the Blocks A and B of Palbok Art Factory. 🌈

💒 Block A 1st Floor hosts studios for artists. The tenant artists create, experiment, and incubate their ideas and passions. 💥

🏭 Block A 2nd Floor is a space for education and exhibition. The 2nd floor holds year-long exhibitions and educational programs such as AA (Art Adapter), the school that supports artists through creative and experimental art education.

🏆 Block B is reserved for cultural-artistic education. Both children and adults are encouraged to join the artists for educational programs held here. The murals painted by the local children seem to symbolize the main mission of Palbok Art Factory to support the artistic potential of children. 🧑

One of the beautiful beaches in Sokcho is Oeongchi Beach~~ There is a walkway that connects Oeongchi Beach🏖 from Oeongchi Port⚓. It's the Oeongchi Bada Hyanggi walkway. It is divided into Bamboo Meditation Path, Sky Deck Path, Security Experience Path, and Rock Observation Path.
It takes about 30 minutes one way🏃‍♀️, you can walk on the wood deck while looking at the waves hitting the rocks right next to you 🌊, and then you can meet the beautiful beach. Sokcho Beach is also within walking distance, so take a walk along the coast with the blue sea! 🏝

🎉 Hwadam Botanic Garden is an eco-friendly arboretum located within Konjiam Resort in Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do, a 40-minute drive away from Seoul. ❤️ In an effort to revive the country's forest ecosystem, LG Evergreen Foundation brought in approximately 4,300 types of exquisite and domestic plants to form a forest park divided into 17 themes. 🌝 "Hwadam" can be translated into "friendly communication," a name given to the forest in hopes that the area serves as a mean for people to communicate with nature. 🌲 While the forest is designed to offer an environmentally friendly atmosphere, the ecosystem and habitats of the forest are well-preserved, serving as a home to many living species. 💫

😎 “Gwanghwa Sidae” is about setting the interactive grounds for people around the globe to reach out to one another, using light to transcend limits in time and space,” Culture Minister Hwang Hee said in a press statement. “I anticipate the immersive content in Gwanghwamun to heal the minds of pandemic-weary people worldwide.” 📸

🎡 “Gwanghwa Byeokhwa” is a three-dimensional anamorphic video that utilizes a large L-shaped LED screen to display the works of media artists. Citizens will also be able to interact with the content in real time through the museum’s main website or by accessing a QR code installed near the museum. 🔋 When a person sends data or a character they’ve created during the designated transmission periods, the data is reflected on the media canvas. 🌞

😘The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Korea Creative Content Agency held the opening ceremony for "Age of Light (Gwanghwa Sidae)" at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 25, 2022. at the museum and unveil Gwanghwa Byeokhwa, a large-scale LED panel for displaying media art. 😍
