Sadly heard about a cat adopted by an inexperienced owner who had plants in the house that were toxic. The cat passed away.

This maybe useful to have a check. There are a few in this list I didn't know about.

More bad news for people traveling to the USA with their dogs.

I've put off posting this for a while because it's really just been implemented since August 1st. I'm not entirely sure how the airlines are reacting to it.

BUT ESSENTIALLY ALL DOGS flying to the USA - EVEN those vaccinated in the USA must now have an airway bill number.

Airway bill numbers are associated with bookings that are MANIFEST CARGO. The USA have said that they will allow dogs to fly in cabin as long as they have an airway bill number. Here's the problem ... Airlines refuse to issue airway bill numbers to any pet that isn't flying as manifest cargo. So I genuinely do not know if they will bend the rules for pets flying in cabin or in the hold but not as manifest.

Once I get more news on this and to see how it develops over the next few months I will update you all.

Its still so hot and dangerous for street cats and for birds. Please find a way to put water out on your window sills for birds and near your car park for street cats. Its literally the difference between life and death for them

Heads up!!

Lufthansa are ceasing operations to & from Kuwait at some point in September. Its no longer financially viable for them apparently. (Pretty much what KLM said)

For those of you who like to take pets IN the cabin, that leaves only Turkish as your option.

Turkish usually require booking for pets in cabin well in advance.

They didn't ASK to be homeless street cats! If you can't help them, please don't harm them. A bowl of water a day will not hurt you but may be the difference between life and death for these souls.

Good day all

Due to the high levels of abuse & stress in this job I will be leaving PetsAway & handing over to Leslie.

Get the rabies titre test done. Most countries now require this.
